Join Cherri Campbell as she delves deep into understanding God’s will regarding healing in this inspiring episode of Victorious Faith. Building on yesterday’s sermon, Cherry explains the importance of recognizing God as Jehovah Rapha, the eternal healer. By exploring scriptures and discussing the critical nature of naming and affirming God as our healer, we learn how faith plays a pivotal role in activating God’s promises in our lives.

SPEAKER 02 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victoria’s Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning I’m going to continue sharing with you the message I began sharing with you yesterday that I preached in one of our Victoria’s Faith services called, Who Do You Say That I Am? My Healer. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message, Who Do You Say That I Am? My Healer. But your problem is, is you need to find out what his will is. Find out and then take what’s his will. And we have in the Bible recorded what his will is. Most Christians act like it’s a mystery. I wonder what could God’s will be? Should I be healed or not? read. It’s all in there. His will is from cover to cover. And let me show you a few scriptures. All right. The will of God is the word of God. The word of God is the will of God. So regarding healing, since we are looking specifically at healing, let me give you proof number one or evidence number one or source number one for his will. One of the names of God is Jehovah Rapha in Exodus 15, 26. Exodus 15, 26. God said, I am the Lord who heals you. That’s the English translation of I am Jehovah Rapha or Rapha. And so his name, I am the Lord who heals you. And actually, do you know in the Hebrew, that also means your physician. Another definition is I’m your healer. I am your physician. If you go to a medical doctor, Are you going to question that medical doctor if it’s their will for you to be healed? You shouldn’t go to them if there’s any question, if they want you to be healed or not. You wouldn’t go to a medical doctor. and think that that person really doesn’t want you to get better. They really want you to stay sick. That that sickness is supposed to teach you a lesson. Well, you know it’s rebellion to go to a doctor if God wants you sick. I mean, why rebel against the will of God if you’re supposed to be sick? And you go to the doctor, and the doctor’s, although he’s only mortal man, he wants you to get better, but why would God be worse than a medical doctor? That he wouldn’t want you to get better. You go to the medical doctor because the medical doctor trained in order to help people get better. So it must be their will. They want you to get better. Right? That’s what medical doctors do. They help you to the best of their ability and their knowledge, though limited. They want you to get better. Well, God said he was the God, the Lord, Jehovah. Jehovah. Eternal healer. Eternal healer. So why would you question the eternal healer if it’s his will for you to be healed? The God who heals. Do you really want me to be healed? I am. It’s one of the I am’s of God. I am the Lord who heals you. You don’t need to question the eternal healer, the God who says, I am the healer God. If he wants you to be healed, that’s, he said, I am. That’s his will revealed to you forever. Does his name ever change? His name will never change. Jehovah, Rophe, or Rapha, whichever you prefer, will never pass away. And you know it says in Malachi 3, 6, I, the Lord, do not change. And Hebrews 13, 8, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He doesn’t change. I am the Lord. I do not change. God never changes. And he is Jehovah Rophe yesterday, today, and forever. He is not going to change. He always was your healer. He always is and always will be the healer God. Jehovah, the I am. And he never said I was. I used to be. But that all changed. Would God dare say, I was, but that all changed?
SPEAKER 1 :
No.
SPEAKER 02 :
He wouldn’t exist anymore. Because the fact that he’s the same yesterday, today, and forever is what makes him God. And the moment he would ever change, if he did, he would break his word. And then he would self-destruct. Literally. Not jokingly. If he broke his word, which says he is the same and he never changes, but he did change and was no longer the same, then he would self-destruct by the power of his own word. And he would cease to exist and he would no longer be God. So the fact that he’s always the same and never changes is why he’s God. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. So I am the healer, the Lord who heals you. The I am never changes. He always was. He always will be. He is your healer today. Lift your hand and say, Lord, I receive you as my healer. You never change. I receive you as my healer right now in Jesus name. Amen. And do you realize that as we’re going to go in this lesson, Who do you say I am? He will only be to you what you say he is. So you have to say he’s your healer. And you have to believe in your heart and confess him as your healer. Just like you confess him as Lord. Just like you confess him as Savior. You’re going to have to confess him as healer. Or that part of his work will not be activated in your life. Just like for every Joe and Sue out on the street, if they never call him Lord and Savior, they’ll never be born again. Well, in the same way, it’s you believing it and calling him that that activates that part of who he is in your life. So you want to receive him as everything he is. That’s why I’m excited about this series. We’re going to be looking at different names of God, different attributes of his character, and then we’re going to confess him as that in our lives, all those different names. Like, you are this to me, and you are this to me, and you are this to me. And that’s going to activate that power of God for that person. specific thing in your life hallelujah and so just like Jehovah Jireh means our provider actually it means the God who sees and provides did Jehovah Jireh ever forget the Jireh part he’d just go by Jehovah and let Jireh fall off the side somewhere and get dropped behind in the dirt oh I lost Jireh somewhere where did it go I guess I used to be your provider, but I can’t find Jireh anymore. No, he never changes. He still is Jehovah Jireh, your provider. And as long as you confess him that and call him that, he will be your provider every day. Hallelujah. He’ll be your provider every day. Hallelujah. Another scripture about God’s will, you know, his name. For healing, that is. His name is one proof that healing is God’s will. Another proof that healing is God’s will is in Matthew 8, verses 2 and 3. Now, John, at the close of his gospel, he said, if everything Jesus said and did were recorded in the scriptures, then I guess the whole world would not have room enough for the books that would contain it. So that means that Jesus did a lot of things and said a lot of things that were not recorded. Which means, then, the things that were recorded were inspired by the Holy Spirit. They were specifically selected things that Jesus said and did. Specifically selected things that Jesus said and did that were recorded in Scripture to be canonized for eternity. Do you realize this Bible is not just for our… Time on earth, this word is eternal. This Bible, this canon is eternal. So the things that Jesus did and said that were recorded in the scriptures, canonized as scripture, it’s going to be the same for eternity, unchanging. So there’s a reason why the stories and examples, miracles that Jesus did were recorded. And so we see this one, Jesus healed the leper in Matthew 8, 2 and 3. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, Lord, if you are willing, stop right there a moment. If you are willing. How many of you heard that phrase before in church, even in prayer? If you are willing or if it be thy will is the common phrase. Let me give you this little lesson again. Praying, if it be your will for everything. is actually wrong, erroneous, unscriptural, and unproductive and ineffective. Let me explain why. There are different kinds of prayer. That’s where you need to start. Different kinds of prayer. Actually, worship is a type of prayer. And consecration… Dedicating your life to the Lord, surrendering to him, is a type of prayer. It’s a prayer of consecration. And actually, the prayer of consecration is the prayer where you say, Lord, if it be your will. It’s when you are surrendering to do the will of God for your life. But there’s another type of prayer that we’ve already been referring to called the prayer of faith. Now, faith in itself, if you understand the definition of faith, it is confidence and it means being fully persuaded. Fully persuaded. Now, the phrase, if it be thy will… Does that denote being fully persuaded? Not at all. It’s a question. The word if is a question. It’s a doubt. It shows there is no confidence. There is no persuasion. There’s even really no knowledge. So you cannot pray the prayer of faith, being fully persuaded and confident, believing you take grasp and take to yourself something from God, if there’s this question over there, if it be thy will. So you see, if it be thy will, that phrase will always rob the prayer of faith of any power. And You will not be able to believe you receive until you answer the question, if it be thy will. So that’s where you need to find out what is the will of God. Answer the question. Get an answer after it. Find out. And then I’ve met Christians who say, oh, but the will of God is a mystery. No, it isn’t. Not if you read the book. It’s in there. What you just heard was the continuation of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called Who Do You Say That I Am? My Healer. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
