Join Cherri Campbell as she explores the concept of a voice-activated universe, drawing on biblical passages that highlight the unmatched power of God’s voice. In this episode, she delves into the idea that humans, made in God’s image, possess a unique power to speak words that carry authority and influence over their environment. Cherri discusses the divine design that grants humans dominion over the earth and investigates how words, when aligned with divine will, act as powerful tools of creation and transformation.
SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you a message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called Our Voice Activated Universe. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message, Our Voice Activated Universe. The Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. His voice, he talks, and those trees are just broken in pieces like toothpicks. Psalm 29, 8 and 9. The voice of the Lord shakes the desert. The Lord shakes the desert of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord twists the oaks and strips the forest bare. And in his temple, all cry glory. How powerful is his voice that it’s twists the oaks. Powerful, powerful, powerful. Isaiah 30, 31. The voice of the Lord will shatter Assyria. Well, I like that Assyria represents all of his enemies. So just say his enemies, the voice of the Lord shatters his enemies. I like that. And then you like it too. The voice of the Lord will shatter his enemies. Ezekiel 43, 2. I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters and the land was radiant with his glory. Hebrews 12, 26. At that time, his voice shook the earth. But now he has promised once more, I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Now, God created man in his own image. We are created in the image of God. And I’ve done extensive teaching on that in the past. The story of the glory that God created man in his image. If you trace the word image, image is picture, likeness. And we are his image and his likeness. There is no other creation. that is in his likeness animals are not in his image and you know that’s why it’s sad really i mean it’s kind of funny but it’s really sad when other cultures worship an elephant or they know an elephant with six arms or they worship a buffalo or they worship a snake and i’ve been in the countries where they do they worship snakes they worship elephants they worship you know they’re starving and yet they won’t kill the cattle because they worship the cattle You know, and yet, and they call them gods. God is not made in the image, the cow is not made in the image of God. The elephant is not made in the image of God, but man, he is made in the image and in the likeness of God. So if you want to know what God looks like, it looks like you and me. The human race, and I mean the form of our body and our being, but not only that, our nature is in his image. Our nature is in his image. We are created in the image of love. We’re created by love, for love, to love. Hallelujah. No other animal needs love. Did you ever see a dog walk around? I’m just going to go kill myself because nobody loves me. Or does the cow sit lonely in the eating grass? I’m going to kill myself because nobody loves me. But people do. They need love. You need love as much as you need food and water because you’re created by love for love in the image of love. Hallelujah. We’re made in the image of God. No other creation is made in the image of God. That’s why we all need to be loved and to love. Amen. So we are made in the image of God. But in that, you know, I love to teach on that. It’s the story of the glory that God made us in his image. And then the first thing he did was he gave man authority. God said Genesis. Well, right there. That’s next one. Genesis 126. God said, let us make man in our image after our likeness. And the next thing he said, let them have dominion authority to rule over. Over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. And over himself. He didn’t put that in there, but our authority is over ourselves. You rule over you. And so he made us to rule with his authority. We were created in his image, and then our first duty was to rule. To use authority wisely. over the earth. Genesis 2, 7, the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils, the breath of life. And the man became a living being in the Hebrew or the Jewish commentary. They have studied that out and they write man became a, I’ve said living. King James says living soul, but the Jewish commentary says a speaking, not just living, but speaking soul. And so they actually said a speaking soul, which means God speaks. And we were created to speak because no other creation has authority and ability to speak and to choose what they say. Animals can’t speak except a parrot, which just imitates, doesn’t have intelligent conversation. And then angels speak. Okay, let’s look at the different classes of creation. There’s animals. There’s man. There’s angels. Or you could say angelic spirits and demonic spirits. Animals cannot speak. Angels can speak. They have the ability. But they are only supposed to say what they’re told to say. Gabriel says what the message the Lord gave him. He comes with a message from God and the God gave him to say that. And so angels are not free to choose words. They say what they’re told to say. And that’s why the demon spirits got cast out of heaven. Lucifer said, I will become like the most high. And God said, no, you won’t booted him right out of heaven. So the devil tried it and he didn’t get away with it. And he spoke words of his own will that were not in agreement with the father’s will. And it kicked him out of heaven. But do you have the right to speak words? Yes. Do you have the right to speak words that don’t agree with God? Yes. You have the right and the privilege. You have the choice. You are foolish if you do. Amen. But, you know, that’s everybody who’s not saved. They’re saying what they want to say instead of what God says. And a lot of Christians are saying, I’m sick, I’m poor, I’m broke. We’re not going to make it. We’re going under. Well, that’s not what God says. But can you say it? Yes, you can say it. And does it, you know, well, it does hurt you because your words have power and authority. But we are created in his image and man became a living being that the Jewish commentary, it’s not scripture, but the commentary they made said a speaking soul to relate it to the likeness of God. John 6, 63, the spirit gives life. The flesh counts for nothing. Jesus said, the words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. That’s the words of Jesus. And we are supposed to be like him. We are supposed to be doing what he does. Amen. And again, the angels hearken to his commands, but they don’t choose their words. I’m sorry, Psalm 103.20 is the same one I gave you earlier. That’s why I jumped past Psalm 103.20 and 21. And then in Isaiah 55, this is the picture of God’s words. Verses 10 and 11. So is my word. Now he’s comparing his word to rain that goes out from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Now that’s so powerful. And there’s revelation there. And I’ve learned this, that God in the Bible and in his teachings with man, he does things in circles or cycles, right? The circle is a very important picture in the Hebrew culture and language. The circle. And I’ve even had somebody confirm this to me that one time, well, I won’t go into detail, but the Lord spoke to them and was giving them some less, an angel, and said the circle. God uses the circle as a cycle. Everything starts and completes. Everything starts and completes. He completes what he starts. And that’s the picture of the circle. And so the rain comes down from heaven, waters the earth, and goes back to heaven. That’s the completion. Well, he said, so as my word goes out from my mouth. Well, let’s stop and take a look then. How does God’s word come to the earth? Did God drop a Bible out of the sky and it knocked somebody on the head? And somebody got knocked out cold and woke up with a Bible beside them? No. No. How did God’s word come from heaven? He spoke it. Absolutely. He spoke it out of heaven to the earth, to man. It will not return to me empty or void. What? Wait, wait, wait, wait a minute. Return, return. How does God’s word return? When we speak it. When we speak it, that’s when it returns. We don’t throw the Bible back to God and say, here God, catch. And throw the Bible back up into heaven. No. The same way it came from heaven to earth, God spoke it to man. But that’s only half the cycle. And nothing is completed or accomplished with half of a cycle. Nothing gets completed with half of a cycle. It gets completed when the cycle is finished. And that means the word returns. And how does it return to him? When we say it. So when we say his word, it’s the return of his word. That’s when it will accomplish. It will accomplish. It will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. I’m going to ask you a trick question. So I’m warning you. Is God’s word powerless? Yes. If you don’t believe it and say it. For example, how many people in the United States own a Bible and it’s on the bookshelf and they don’t read it? The Bible on the bookshelf, unopened, not read, not believed, not spoken, will do nothing. It’s this is it’s what do you call? I don’t know if it’s dormant or it’s like a dynamite stick. The dynamite stick is explosive and it can blow apart a building. But if it’s sitting in a cold storage room without a fuse to light it, it will do nothing. But if you light the fuse, it explodes and it’s activated. The Bible is more powerful than all the dynamite in the world, all the nuclear bombs in the world. But if it’s in the bookshelf and nobody reads it, nobody looks at it, nobody believes it, and nobody says it, it will never do anything. What you just heard was the continuation of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called Our Voice Activated Universe. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
