I am from sunny Mexico that everyone at home thinks is on fire. And we’ll maybe talk about that a little later. But yeah, it’s typical, typical news media hype. I’ve got my theory on why. But yeah, no, everything’s I mean, where I’m at, everything is great.
SPEAKER 02 :
How deep in are you? I was in Mexico City, I think, maybe about three or four years ago. But how deep are you in?
SPEAKER 03 :
I’m in Cabo. So, you know, Puerto Vallarta and all that is across the ocean, you know, from us, which, you know, and then if you look at all the maps, they’ve got warnings out for basically every, you know, tourist city, including Cabo. But there’s not a single thing going on here. It’s all good.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah, I’m wondering about that because you look at the news reports like Puerto Vallarta. Are you kidding me? I’m surprised you’re not on fire. But that’s what we’re hearing. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I know you’re down there helping to capture El Mencho, so we appreciate your effort. You’re very welcome. Getting the fentanyl out of here. Maybe we’ll talk about that a little bit later on if we get a chance. But obviously the big news we’re going to talk about is the State of the Union Address. Now, we record this on Wednesday morning, so it was last night that President Trump gave his State of the Union Address, the longest one in recorded history. He broke his own record. He held the record before that. And, you know, there are a lot of different, John, aspects of last night to talk about. But before we get into some of the specific things that happened last night, I am curious to get your 30,000 foot view take overall of how the president did last night. I mean, I got to tell you, all indications seem to be he did pretty good, that the right is pretty pleased with the job that he did and the left is seething.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, and I didn’t watch it last night live, of course, because I’m on vacation, but I got up this morning early and watched the majority of it. And yeah, Bob, I have the same feeling you do. And it’s like, okay, if you… In fact, I would tell anybody out there where if you’ve got even family or friends and they’re 1,000% against Trump and they’re all on the left-hand side, and granted, sometimes you can’t convince those people otherwise, but if you’ve got people where… You know, they just want more information. Honestly, the State of the Union last night, I think, really said a lot about, you know, where are we as a country and who’s on the countryside versus who is against the country. And I think Bob last night, and we’ll talk about some of this, It became really loud and clear last night which side is for which. In fact, at one point, and we’ll talk about this, I’m sure, Donald Trump even asked, hey, stand up. If you believe in defending and protecting citizens of the United States of America over that of illegal aliens, stand up. Well, of course, half of the room stands up because they’re on the right and half of the room sits down because they’re on the left. And frankly, Bob, I believe they don’t care about the country.
SPEAKER 02 :
You know what? That was a very telling moment last night. And by the way, with the midterm elections coming up this fall, there’s basically campaign ads in there. Because, yeah, this is something that is really fundamental as far as a philosophical difference between the right and the left. That’s right. Donald Trump said at this moment, okay, it’s really this simple. If you believe… If you believe that the first responsibility of the American government is to protect the American citizen over the illegal alien, then just stand. You’re right. To look at the visual of every single one of those Democrats sitting on their hands. They made a decision at that moment that, you know something, defending American citizens is, does not take precedent over defending illegal aliens. We’re not even talking about immigrants. We’re talking about illegal aliens. That’s right. And by the way, Trump called him out. I mean, he sat there and looked at him. He pointed over. He stared at them for a little bit. He’s like, wow, you won’t stand. How can you not stand?
SPEAKER 03 :
No, at that point, Bob, I really feel like, you know, you always want to control the room. And of course, Donald Trump does a really good job of controlling the room. But in that moment, I don’t know. I mean, maybe there’s been times in history that I can’t remember because, you know, I’m not, you know, I can’t go way, way, way back in time to some of the wars and stuff we had, you know, world wars and so on. But I think last night, his command of that room at that time and pointing out what you just said, has been like no other president I’ve ever seen do. He literally just stood there, let the applauses keep coming in, and then literally pointed to half the room and said, see what you guys are doing, see whose side they’re really on. I mean, I’m paraphrasing, but that’s essentially what he was saying to the American public.
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, he actually said the words, shame on you. Yeah, shame on you.
SPEAKER 03 :
He said the words, shame on you. Yeah, that’s right. And then I’m looking at it as, you know, who’s on whose side here? He pointed that out last night loud and clear. Right. He did.
SPEAKER 02 :
And of course, during this time, you have Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. Proud to say Rashida Tlaib right here in my own backyard. OK, but there they are yelling at the president, heckling him. Members of Congress yelling and heckling. By the way, Rashida Tlaib, I don’t know if you saw this, but she was wearing a button.
SPEAKER 03 :
Oh, I saw it.
SPEAKER 02 :
No class whatsoever, by the way. And it wasn’t even F dot dot dot. The word was spelled out. Okay. F ice. This is a United States congresswoman. And there’s two of them, her and Ilhan Omar, screaming at Donald Trump. And you know what I loved about this? The Republicans at that point all started chanting USA, USA. OK, because it’s America first. And no, it was absolutely on full display, the absolute hatred campaign. I know. Right. Right. Right. who walks up from behind her, starts slashing her with a knife, just out of the blue. And this guy had been arrested and released, no bail, 12 times. 12 times by the Democrats running that city. And Trump points to her mother, the grieving mother, and the camera’s on the grieving mother, who’s openly sobbing, tears running down her face, openly sobbing, as Trump was like, you know, we’re getting justice for your beautiful daughter. The Republicans stand up, turn around to the grieving mother crying, applauding and applauding her. The camera pans back. The Democrats, they’re sitting on their hands. They wouldn’t even stand. They wouldn’t even clap. And I’m like, how? vacant do you have to be how how cold is the ice water that runs through your veins when you can’t even applaud a crying mother whose daughter got stabbed to death by a by a criminal who was released after 12 different arrests how can you not to me that is john i was amazed at the cold-hearted nature of those democrats
SPEAKER 03 :
I think, as I said earlier, Bob, it shows literally whose side of the fence are you on as far as are you for the country, are you against it? And then just one other thing I want to add, and I get that not everybody was wearing the same button that said, you know, F ice, but just… Just total classness. I don’t know how else to say it, Bob. That is just the epitome of having zero class whatsoever. I mean, I get it. Free speech, whatever. You want to say what you want to say. Okay, but you know what, Bob? There’s a difference between doing that and having some class and how you do it. And of course, my feeling… Yeah, my feeling is that shouldn’t have been allowed inside of chambers in the first place. And frankly, I think that was wrong on our part to even allow that. And I wouldn’t have, but I’m not in charge. So at the end of the day, it is what it is. I mean, you know, people are going to watch that all over the world and that’s now going to be televised. And realistically, even as far as I’m concerned, the FCC should have just said, hey, yeah, you’re not allowed to wear that. People, you know, kids are going to be seeing that all over the world and so on. And I get it. People hear that word constantly anyways. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that you have zero class when you do that.
SPEAKER 02 :
I know. And by the way, those are the very Democrats who claim that they’re the adults in the room. Trump and MAGA are the children in the room. And they tout words like tolerance, love, acceptance, diversity. It’s all a bunch of nonsense. John, hang on a second because we’ve got a lot more to talk about this. Go right ahead. Absolutely. We appreciate you folks doing this. We continue talking about last night’s State of the Union address as we record this on Wednesday morning. So in some more analysis on this, the president welcomed the men’s U.S. hockey team, which was a powerful moment. It was. And so the hockey team comes in there and then there’s the guy who lost three teeth but still scored the winning shot. And there’s the goalie who Trump pointed out had 43 shots on goal. He did such a phenomenal job and Trump awarded him. The, I think it’s Medal of, I’m trying to think of what it is, the medal that they give to sports figures sometimes. I think it’s the Presidential Medal of Freedom, awarded it to him there. But, you know, even in this, now let me say, we did have, we did have some of the Democrats elected. stand up and applaud the USA hockey team. That was good. But I noticed a bunch of them were still sitting down. So at least the Democrats were split on that. But the more hateful members of the Democrats still could not even bring themselves to applaud the U.S. hockey team that just brought home the gold against Canada. But that really was a powerful moment, John.
SPEAKER 03 :
You know, Bob, it was excellent to watch. And I know there’s been lots of, how should I say, controversy over the women. And I guess they are now going to go ahead and go to the White House after Trump invited them and so on. But, I mean, yeah, that was a great moment, though, last night. And I think, you know, it’s a reminder for those of us that are older like you and I where you can remember the miracle and even the movie about the hockey team the last time we won and how long it’s been since we’ve won and so on. I mean, you know, you have to look at all that and say, okay, for – because maybe people that don’t know hockey don’t know this, but the majority of good hockey players don’t come from United States of America. They come literally, Bob, from around the world. Literally, you name a lot of the different places that they come from and they end up playing on professional hockey teams here in the US and of course, Canada as well. But by and large, We don’t, it’s not like the NBA. It’s not like we have a huge advantage, Bob, when it comes to us going to the Olympics and our USA team playing there. So we really kind of talent-wise are at a disadvantage. So for us to win gold at the Olympics, that is a feat. It’s awesome. It should make every American’s pride go up, I guess you could say, and it was a great moment last night.
SPEAKER 02 :
It really was. And so I just – I couldn’t help but think to myself, who are these Democrats that are refusing to stand even for that? Now, I will say, OK, there was one time – when it looked like all the Democrats actually stood. And I don’t know if it was because they were shamed into doing this or what, I just don’t know. But it was also a very powerful moment when President Trump talked about that horrible summer camp flood in Texas last year, where, and it was just, it was so, the floodwaters raised really fast and you had a lot of children, a lot of little children that died And this was just a horrible tragedy. As the floodwaters were rising, he referenced a little girl that was there that started praying to God because she knew she was going to die. And suddenly out of the sky comes this Coast Guardsman who’s risking his own life to be sent down on a harness and grabs her, snatches her, pulls her up to safety. And with the winds blowing and everything else, he’s risking his life. He did this 165 times and saved the lives of 165 of those little girls. But the first one… that he rescued was this little 11 year old girl. And Trump had both of them, the rescuer and that first little 11 year old girl standing there next to each other, hugging each other, being reunited with each other. What a powerful moment. And this is where Maybe I’m being cynical here, John. When I watched the Democrats go ahead and join the Republicans standing and applauding the little girl and the hero who rescued 165 of these little girls, I know it’s cynical, but I don’t think they stood because they actually felt a lump in their throat. I think they stood because politically they realized, oh, I don’t want to do this. I don’t want to acknowledge anything that Donald Trump is acknowledging in a positive way, but I’m going to look really, really bad if I don’t stand up for this. So I know it’s cynical. No, you’re not being cynical, Bob.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, you’re not being cynical body language and folks like anybody that’s been in – probably even the business world, sales, things like that, Bob, you and I have been for a majority of our life. You learn body language and what people are saying with their body. They may not be saying anything physically, but you can see by body language, their eye movement, even where their hands are placed, their body, how it’s twisted, all sorts of things along those lines. And yeah, Bob, they stood up because they felt like they had to politically. They did not want to stand up.
SPEAKER 02 :
I know. I just, but you know what? At least politically they did for that moment. And then, you know, Trump was actually pretty funny and he was amazingly relaxed. And, you know, I have to say this, okay, this is how stupid I am, John. I was watching this on CNN because I wanted to see how CNN responded to this and their analysis and such. And it was interesting to me as I’m watching the Democrats and the way that they’re responding and Trump being pretty casual and calm and relaxed and in control of the room. CNN was reporting, you know, for somebody whose poll numbers are as disastrously bad as they are. And then they said, you know, Donald Trump polling at 37 percent. Okay. That’s how dishonest they are because 37% happens to be the lowest of all of the polls for him right now. Notice they didn’t say at the very same time a few days ago, Insider Advantage came out with a poll having him at 50%. But the RealClearPolitics average of all of the polls has him at 42%. And at this very same time in Barack Obama’s second term, he was running at 42.7% or 42.8%. So within the margin of error, just about the same polling that Barack Obama had, But just like you’re dealing with in Mexico, the perception is, oh, Puerto Vallarta, everything’s on fire right now. No, it’s not. There’s this perception that, oh, Donald Trump is tanking in the polls so bad. He is right about – less than a point away from where Barack Obama was at this very point in his second term. And that’s with Obama getting – pretty close to 100% slobbering positive news coverage and Donald Trump getting 90% to 95% negative coverage. And he’s still within a point, a fraction of a point, of where Obama was at this very same point. That’s what the press, John, doesn’t tell you.
SPEAKER 03 :
It is. And to your point, the press manipulates things into what they want. The left has had the press, the major press, I should say, on their side now for decades. They utilize that. To their credit, Bob, they utilize that very well. And you and I talk about this constantly. We don’t message very well. Now, I will say this, and I even… texted a couple of folks early this morning that i know are having some issues with friends or kids or neighbors or whatever i’m like okay i know it’s long i know you may not get them to watch it but if you really want to see the two sides of the aisle and what’s going on and really hear trump explain things get them to watch the state of the union because i felt like last night bob that not only did he command the room but i think he did a really good job of messaging the two sides what’s going on what he’s doing for america what they’re doing against America I think he did a really good job of explaining that last night I was actually very surprised
SPEAKER 02 :
You know what? I think he did too. And by the way, one of the things that he laid out, which I thought was brilliant, was here are the actual results, okay? Not hyperbole, not feelings and emotions. Here’s the actual results. And let me just say, I want to read to you just a little transcript of what he said near the beginning of his speech, okay? He said, “‘Today, the border is secure.'” Our spirit is restored. Inflation is plummeting. Incomes are rising fast. The roaring economy. Our enemies are scared. Our military and police are stacked. America is respected again. After four years in which millions and millions of illegal aliens poured across our borders, totally unfettered and unchecked, we now have the strongest and most secure border in American history. In the past nine months, Zero illegal aliens have been admitted into the United States. We will allow people to come in legally, people that love our country and will work hard to maintain our country. Deadly fentanyl across our border is down by a record 56% in one year. In the last year, the murder rate saw the single largest one-year decline in recorded history. And then Trump said, this is the biggest decline in recorded history, the lowest number in over 125 years. Which, by the way, is really remarkable because 125 years ago, John, is when they started recording nationally murder figures in America. And from Biden’s last year to Trump’s first year in office, the largest one-year decline in murders in America and United States recorded history going back 125 years. He then pointed out, he said, in 12 months, my administration has driven core inflation down to the lowest level in more than five years. And in the last three months of 2025, core inflation was down to 1.7%. The annual cost of a typical new mortgage is down almost $5,000 since I took office in just one year. The stock market has had 53 all-time record highs since the election, boosting 401ks and retirement accounts for millions of Americans. And then he said the last administration got less than $1 trillion in new investment into the United States in all four years. He said, in the last 12 months, I’ve secured commitments to the United States of more than $18 trillion. And he goes, think of it, less than $1 trillion in four years versus more than $18 trillion in one year. What a difference a president makes. And then, oh, boy, you get that. And then the Republicans just stood up just cheering and applauding, understandably so. And there’s the Democrats sitting on their hands. But what can they say? I mean, look at that. In one year, these are some pretty powerful accomplishments, John.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, Bob, you’re exactly right. And again, as I said, I think his messaging last night was really strong. I think he laid it out. We’ll have other examples I’m sure we’ll talk about of things that he did, even when it comes to health care and just the overall economy and affordability, which even he talked about how it’s the Democrats that have labeled affordability, and yet they created the crisis that we have today. I mean, he really did, Bob, in a lot of ways, called out the left for their lies and their misdeeds, and I’m glad he did.

And so some of the other things that I noticed last night, John, first of all, the insider trading thing in Nancy Pelosi. It’s like, oh, my goodness. I want to give a little bit of background information to listeners who may not know about insider trading in Nancy Pelosi. Insider trading is a crime. It’s a white collar crime. You go to prison for this. This is where you have evidence. inside information about certain stocks or certain industries, and you buy and sell based on that inside information that you have that the general public does not have. While members of Congress have this inside information, they know about legislation that’s getting ready to pass or fail or whatever that will have an effect on individual businesses or individual organizations or industries. And so they know if the stock value of that company is going to shoot way up or shoot way down. Well, it is a crime. It is illegal to use that information to make buying or selling of stock purchase decisions. Can’t do that. When Nancy Pelosi… who makes just regular standard congressional salary. Right now she’s making somewhere in the 170s, 180s a year. Some of you might hear that and say, well, that’s pretty good. Yeah, but you know what? In general, especially when you live in Washington, D.C. and such, that’s actually not as much money as people think. She’s still got her bills and expenses to pay. So nobody says members of Congress can’t invest some money, of course, and have stocks. Okay, that’s fine. But Nancy Pelosi and her husband have been so lucky, so coincidentally lucky to buy just the right stocks at just the right time. and unload just the right stocks at just the right time. Do you know, John, Nancy Pelosi’s net worth is over $400 million right now. Unreal. She’s nearly a half a billionaire, and we’re supposed to believe that this is just coincidental. So with that background information… Folks, what you had was President Trump last night saying, we need to stop. We need to ban insider trading among members of Congress. We need to ban that. And people clapped. Even some Democrats stood up, Elizabeth Warren, and were clapping. It’s like, yeah, right. But Trump made a joke. He goes, I wonder if Nancy Pelosi’s standing right now.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s because, Bob, she’s the poster child, if you would, for insider trading as a congresswoman. I mean, the reality is there’s an app even that a young man created called If you just trade like Nancy trades, you’ll be as rich as Nancy, basically. And he’s not wrong, by the way, because nobody’s that lucky, Bob. I mean, there are guys, as you know, there’s guys on Wall Street, traders, by the way, guys that work inside of venture capitalist firms and hedge funds and so on. that I would venture to guess don’t do as well as she does. And these guys have PhDs in doing this stuff. So, Bob, at the end of the day, it’s not luck. It’s called knowing what’s going to happen in the marketplace prior to it happening because you’re on the inside being able to, how would you want to say this, to be able to shape those things at the end of the day. And when you’re able to shape them, of course, you know what to invest in and not invest in. And it should be illegal, Bob. I know.
SPEAKER 02 :
Guess what? It is illegal. It’s a crime. Anybody else? I mean, first of all, $400 million. Okay. That’s ridiculous. This is Bernie Madoff level stuff. Okay. If it were anybody other than Nancy Pelosi. They’d be in prison.

Oh, what are you kidding? I mean, you know what? Imagine if Trump’s boys were doing stuff like this, okay? The left that has a cow because the Trumps happen to invest in cryptocurrency, okay, and it’s paid off, although… You know, cryptocurrency and Bitcoin has been down quite a bit lately, but still, they’re allowed to do this as business people. But you can’t inside trade like this. Nancy Pelosi has clearly done this, just like Hillary Clinton did it back then. Remember when Hillary Clinton made like $100,000 immediately on some stocks that she bought and unloaded at just the right time? But it just goes to show if you’re if your name is Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, if your name is Nancy Pelosi, you’re above the law. I mean, just flat out above the law. You’re allowed to do things nobody else could do. No Republican could get away with nonsense like that. But you know what? Nancy Pelosi sure has. And she’s retiring into the sunset with her nearly half a billion dollars that she illegally collected through insider trading. Wow.

Yeah, and keep in mind, for all of you listening, all on our dime. So she got rich on the taxpayer dime. I mean, she didn’t get rich as far as the trades go. Yes, that was her money invested. But at the end of the day, Bob, it was because of her salary and her inside knowledge as being a congressperson, basically on our dime, that allowed her to get there.

So the State of the Union was last night. So, John, another thing that I noticed last night, President Trump talked about the transgender insanity on our children. Uh-huh. And it is insane that we have children right now that are being permanently body mutilated because they’re gender confused. He highlighted a young girl, a young lady in the chambers last night that was gender confused. And the teachers and people, they were trying to transition her behind her parents’ back without her parents’ knowledge even. And he said, you know what, that can’t go on anymore. We can’t have teachers in schools gender transitioning children and keeping it a secret from their parents. So we need to stop this in Congress and say you can’t do things like that. Once again, John, here we go. You have half the room. The Republicans stand and applaud. The Democrats sit on their hands. And kudos to President Trump. He just sat there and stared at the Democrats who could not even stand and applaud for protecting children from gender transitioning in secret behind the backs of their parents from teachers. And Trump looked at him and I love this, John. He pointed to the Democrats and then he just said, these people are crazy. And, you know, I’ll tell you what, John, I really think even a lot of independent swing voters that think that Donald Trump is too harsh and blah, blah, blah. I think there’s a lot of independent swing voters and soccer moms. It’s like, you know what? Doesn’t sound very presidential. But, man, I totally agree with it. I think a lot of Americans are like, these people are crazy. And that’s what Trump said last night.
SPEAKER 03 :
We talked about this even before the last election, you know, where Trump was elected president for the second term. And this is one of those topics that I feel the left just chooses, Bob, to be blinded by. They choose to be ignorant, if you would. And, you know, Niels talked about this before as being some sort of a demonic thing, which I don’t know what I can argue with, by the way, because the way these people act is and the fact that they literally are blind to what they’re doing. And we’ve talked about it. It’s child abuse. It’s not even borderline child abuse. It’s grooming. It’s child abuse. And at the end of the day, Bob, yes, I believe you’re correct. There are a lot of folks, even in the middle There’s probably even some Democrats that maybe are a little bit more to the right than they are far left that look at this whole movement and think, what is my party doing and why are they doing this? Because at the end of the day, this just isn’t the way things should be. And I think this is the one card, Bob, I think they’re playing that they’re getting wrong.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah. I just – for the life of me, I don’t know how anybody can be okay with doing this to children. I just really – well, we got to remember too. You just had a $2 million successful lawsuit against a doctor and a psychologist. That’s right. who went through with a gender mutilation thing of a 15, 16-year-old girl. It’s like, what, are you crazy? You did this to me? And so I think that will be and should be the beginning of a whole lot of different lawsuits that are brought against. Hey, you know what? You got the largest transgender surgery performing hospital in the country is in New York City. And they just recently announced, eh. Well, we’re not going to do trans surgeries on minors anymore because Donald Trump is threatening them and threatening them with withholding federal funding as well.
SPEAKER 03 :
We’ve talked about this before. Yeah, I predicted this last week, Bob, and I’ve talked about this even on my show. You’re going to see more and more insurance companies on the malpractice sides of things say, guess what, guys? If you’re going to go down that path, too much risk. We’re all about risk. We don’t care. We’re not in the moral end of things as insurance companies. We’re in the risk assessment, and this is too risky for us. We’re no longer going to carry malpractice insurance for those of you doing gender reassignment under the age of 18. And I’ve said this before, and mark my words, depending upon who’s in the White House, at some point when the insurance companies decide to not carry that insurance and provide that insurance any longer, the Democrats will figure out a way to set up a fund through the government to do so.
SPEAKER 02 :
Hate to say it, but they probably will. Trump also hit on voter ID, okay? And by the way, scored some really good points last night. He’s like, you know, you got to show voter ID, photo ID to vote. And then he points out that in New York City, you got Zoran Mamdami, the Marxist leftist mayor of New York City with the blizzard that’s hitting New York. They’re like, okay, well, let’s go ahead and offer some contract jobs to regular citizens that want to make some extra money by snow plowing. I was like, well, okay, fine. But then New York City says, yeah, but you do have to show photo ID to do this, okay, and a Social Security card. So I guess what I’m thinking, John, this is what I said to my audience earlier this week, okay, if we use the Democrats’ own logic – That means that Zoran Mamdami, the Democrat mayor of New York City, is trying to institute Jim Crow 2.0 laws and trying to stop black people from being able to earn extra money by snow plowing as a contractor for the city. What am I missing here? If it’s Jim Crow 2.0 to ask for ID and you’re trying to stop black people from voting, then why isn’t it Jim Crow 2.0? for New York City, and they’re trying to stop black people from making extra money. Why isn’t it? I’m just using the Democrats’ logic.
SPEAKER 03 :
I think Trump said it last night very, very well, because they like cheating.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yep. He said it, and he’s right. They know that when it comes to voter ID, if you have to show ID, that makes it much more difficult to commit voter fraud. And I think Democrats know that of all the people that are committing voter fraud, it’s usually the Democrats. I’m not saying no Republicans have ever committed voter fraud, but let’s be honest. Everybody knows on both sides, John, it’s mostly the Democrats, and that’s the reason the Democrats are trying to protect voter fraud.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s exactly right. He said it and he called it out last night and good job on his part.
SPEAKER 02 :
Absolutely, absolutely. Well, he mentioned Charlie Kirk. Erica Kirk was in the chamber last night. Okay, powerful moment. But you know something? I also noticed another time, John, that the Democrats wouldn’t stand, wouldn’t clap, wouldn’t stand. And this is when Trump – said, I’m very proud to say that during my time in office, both the first four years and in particular last year, there has been a tremendous renewal in religion, faith, Christianity, and belief in God. He said, and belief in – so there’s been a renewal of a belief in God. How telling was it, John, that last night when he said there’s been a renewal of Christianity and a belief in God – The Republicans all stood to their feet and applauded. The Democrats all sat on their hands, wouldn’t clap, wouldn’t stand. They could not even applaud an increased renewal in Christianity and a belief in God. To me, I don’t know how telling that is for Christians who continue to vote Democrat.
SPEAKER 03 :
That one, we’ve talked about so many times in the past. I won’t get into it now. That one, I can’t wrap my head around. I think Donald Trump, again, last night called out so many times where you really saw whose side is who, what are they for, what do they stand for, who’s for America, who’s against it.

Absolutely, absolutely. Well, I’ll tell you what, it was really remarkable to watch. Final question for you, John. Do you think this will… Will this kind of increase momentum? Usually there’s a bump for any president who has a State of the Union address, so Trump will probably get a little bit of bump in the polls. Will this have any lasting effect toward this fall’s midterm elections, or is this just kind of a blip that’s going to be forgotten about three weeks from now?

If we continue to message correctly and you see the economy respond to some of the things he talked about last night, I think depend on that. Yeah, that’s a very good point.
