Thank you. Looking, of course, at what’s happening, which, by the way, you know, we record this on Wednesday morning. And so, Neil, I know I’m sure that you watched every minute of the Oscars, right?

Actually, I did. And I’m rewatching it, you know, on repeat. It’s just amazing.

Oh, man. I didn’t even know they were on. That’s how disconnected I am from anything happening in Hollywood. What are you going to do? We’ve got a lot of things Iran-related to talk about. There are certainly many things going on right now. You’ve got the Save America Act, the defunding of DHS along lines at the airports. We may get to some of that, but obviously… The elephant in the room is what’s happening with Iran, the Strait of Hormuz. So there are many things there to discuss. And actually, guys, before we even get to the specific issue of the Strait of Hormuz, let’s talk in a general sense about whether this was the right or wrong thing to do. You got the counterterrorism advisor in the White House who resigned saying, oh, this wasn’t the right thing to do, even though in 2020 he posted on Twitter that, hey, we need to take Iran out. So the guy’s kind of changed his mind.
SPEAKER 02 :
He’s also been really quick. He also is a known, I’ve read about him this morning, he’s a known leaker and hasn’t even been in the intelligence briefings for months.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. So it just, it looks like this was a bad hire on Trump’s part and so be it. But, you know, no, look, to me, if we didn’t, John, I’ll start with you. If we didn’t go in there, if we didn’t do this now, my goodness, what do we wait for? Do we wait for them to go ahead and have a nuclear weapon. We have the International Atomic Agency, not the U.S., the International Atomic Agency, that they themselves admit that their enriched uranium is beyond civilian necessity. So they’re clearly building a bomb. Do we let them do that? And then you have the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world that is now nuclear. And then it’s too late. Then we can’t go in and stop them because then they’re going to activate their nuclear weapon wherever they can. So to me, I don’t see how we could not have done this.
SPEAKER 02 :
No, there was a great interview here of late with Bill O’Reilly, who, by the way, I’m not a huge fan of. I think sometimes Bill’s definitely left of me in a lot of situations, and I don’t follow the guy at all, although he had a report out recently. Which he’s looking bad, by the way, these days. I know. Yeah. Have you seen how frail he’s looking? He had a report earlier where he had some intel, I guess you could say. As a journalist, he was provided with some intel that – The Trump administration learned that Iran was within days of having 10 nuclear warheads ready to go, meaning you take 10 of those. And for those listening, maybe you don’t understand this, 10 warheads wipes out a continent plus. So at the end of the day, you cannot let them have that at the end of the day period.
SPEAKER 04 :
No, you’re absolutely right. And to think that Trump would wait in a situation like that to me is absurd, especially when his intel lets him know, hey, guess what? We got the supreme leader and pretty much all of the honchos all together in one complex. It’s now or we may lose our opportunity. How do you not do it now? But, Neil, what’s your take on this in a general sense? Was it a good, right, and necessary thing for us to take out the leadership of Iran?
SPEAKER 03 :
well with as with all things i think in the end history you know will tell but just on the surface absolutely had to be done there’s no way around it and if if this crazed lunatic of a leader former crazed lunatic because he’s no longer here uh you know had the opportunity he absolutely would use those nukes there isn’t it isn’t like hey know we just want to be a team player here we want to be one of the players you know among world superpowers it isn’t about that it’s about the annihilation of israel and the annihilation of the united states that’s the goal so what do you think they’re gonna what do you think they’re gonna do with nuclear weapons if they get them and i’ve heard a variety of reports some saying you know they were weeks away two weeks away and now john you’re saying 10 days away good lord if any of that’s accurate I mean the they’re not going to wait they’re not going to wait this is uh right this is a you know a really a crazed theological death cult these people want to die they want to bring about Armageddon and by the way I’m not talking about all the Iranian people I’m talking about the crazed leadership in Iran you know and It had to be done. Absolutely something needed to be done. And Donald Trump wasn’t going to wait. Now, everybody could raise questions. People could raise questions about, well, you know, where does oil come into play? And did Israel force our hand or what? I mean, there’s questions and people can talk about it. But the reality is the one big thing. If Iran gets those nukes, they’re going to use them. We have nuclear power. We haven’t used a nuke since 1940-something. And if Iran gets it, they’re going to be the next to use it. So they had to be stopped.
SPEAKER 04 :
And the point that you make about how crazed they are as far as Armageddon, this is absolutely true. People don’t realize, okay, their brand of Shiite Islam believes in the 12th Imam, the Mahdi, and the return of the Mahdi. But this Mahdi, what ushers in his return, would be Armageddon. So they don’t care about mutually assured destruction. That brings about end times for them, and they’re fine with that. So that’s what they believe in Shia Islam, and Iran is most about 85 to 90% of Iran are Shiites. That doesn’t mean that all of the people in Iran are that radical that they want to bring in Armageddon. But yeah, certainly the leadership is. So, all right. So I think we’re in agreement. This was a necessary thing to do, which by the way, John, do you think if Kamala Harris were in the White House right now, do you think that she would be taking out Iran? I have a bad feeling that we would find out suddenly in a few months, Iran is officially a nuclear weapon, nuclear power. And now So we’re dramatically limited with what we can do with Iran. And by the way, Iran would then control, as they still do, the state of Hormuz. And now they have a nuclear weapon. So they’re like, hey, don’t anybody even think about if we shut down the state of Hormuz, you know, don’t mess with us. We now have a nuclear weapon. Can you even imagine giving them that kind of leverage?

It would be a different world today. It’d be more scary. Let’s just say that.

Most of the polls are showing about 40-something percent support, 50-something percent don’t support. You got a couple of polls that show 51, 52 percent, but most of them it’s upside down. But interestingly enough, when voters are given some basic information that the mainstream media won’t tell you, then suddenly the poll numbers change. McLaughlin conducted a survey of Americans and decided to, as part of the question, inform them of something. They asked them, if you approve of President Trump using the military to eliminate Iran’s nuclear missile program and its support for terrorism, okay, by using the military as he is, when you ask the question that way, suddenly 51% approved, 41% didn’t approve. And then they were asked, they were given the statement, Iran has been a rogue nation for 47 years, responsible for killing hundreds of Americans, taking Americans hostage, including the deaths of US soldiers in Jordan in 2024. In this context… Do you agree with President Trump’s military action? Was it necessary and warranted to protect American lives today and in the future? Ask the question that way. It then goes to 57% approval, 33% disapproval. And by the way, among Hispanics, same thing, 56% approval, 33% disapproval. undecided voters, not knowing if they’re going to go Republican or Democrat this fall, 51% approve, 29% disapprove. You know, John, this just shows me that we’ve got a lot of, I don’t mean to sound mean, but a lot of ignorant, uneducated people that are voters that don’t really know what’s going on. All they do is skim the surface of whatever headlines they get from ABC, NBC, and the like. And so therefore, they’re against this war. You give them just a little bit of information and suddenly, oh, wow, we’re totally doing the right thing.
SPEAKER 02 :
Between mainstream media and don’t forget social media, which is packed full of just absolute nonsense, garbage, most of it isn’t true. These folks will not go digging. I was reading this morning, which for everybody listening, this is really a telltale sign. when all of the other Arab countries around Iran are saying, listen, U.S., don’t pull out until these guys are completely dismantled. We want that straight open from this point forward. We don’t want them having this ability ever again in the future. UAE, who has taken the brunt of attacks from Iran, by the way, so they’re not only just attacking Iran, They are attacking Israel. They’re attacking Qatar. They’re attacking the UAE. And the UAE is mad because they’re not only attacking… Iran claims they’re only attacking military installations and so on, which just isn’t true. It’s a lie. They’re attacking… They’re cluster bombs. I mean, come on.
SPEAKER 04 :
Cluster bombs are civilian.
SPEAKER 02 :
That’s right. And they are doing that all over the UAE. The UAE is in a defense mode right now. You know why. I mean, we don’t have to get into that. And these are the things, Bob and Neil, that the average… To your point, Bob, a moment ago, these are things the average voter doesn’t know, doesn’t read about. And if I hear, quote unquote, one more Christian, I put air quotes around Christian complaining about this war that Christ would never do anything like this. And what are we doing? And we should be loving everybody. And the fact that a school was bombed, by the way, that was not meant to be. Things happen in war, by the way. That’s why it’s called war. There’s always going to be some casualties. Nobody likes that, but that’s the way it is. We didn’t intentionally bomb a school by any stretch of the imagination, nor would we, and yet there’s a gazillion Christians running around out there condemning the war because of that, Bob. I know.
SPEAKER 04 :
It does make my eye twitch. And, you know, Neil, what John was saying about other nations, Middle Eastern nations, I want to read a headline of an op-ed. This headline says, the U.S.-Israeli strategy against Iran is working. here’s why. And do you know who wrote this? Who wrote this op-ed is a Muslim by the name of Muhannad Siloom, who lives in Qatar, Qatar. He’s a Middle Eastern Arab, lives in the Muslim nation of Qatar. He’s a professor of Middle Eastern studies. He’s an expert on Middle Eastern security, intelligence, and military. And this op-ed was run in Al Jazeera, which is basically the USA today of the Middle East for the Arab and Muslim world. They’re based out of Qatar. They’re also known for being very liberal. And Neil, they run an op-ed saying Trump’s critics are wrong about this. This is actually working and it’s the right thing to do.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah. And what does that say? What it says is that we’re being systematically lied to by the legacy media in this country and by talking heads all over the place. You know, the great critics of misinformation back during the COVID days are the purveyors of misinformation today. They don’t want us to know the facts about what’s actually going on. And by hiding simple facts like you were quoting earlier from those studies, simple facts that change the entire narrative. Remember, wasn’t it just prior to the 2020 election, when the news about Hunter Biden was breaking, that people indicated how much differently they would have voted if they had any idea in advance that that kind of election absolutely would have swung the election. So, I mean, why should we be surprised that the American people are being duped into voting? really just relying on their feelings. You know, you throw a headline at people and then say, well, how do you feel about it? And as a Christian, you know, what would Jesus do? Well, by the way, Jesus will preside on a white horse at the Battle of Armageddon. And trust me on this one, he wins in the end. Jesus as King of Kings.
SPEAKER 04 :
Who will make war on nations.
SPEAKER 03 :
Exactly. King of Kings, Lord of Lords. And go, you know, read the book of Revelation. Maybe a good place to start. But I don’t know. I don’t know that. I’m not trying to say in any way that Christians ought to be warmongers. But the reality is that we have to be realistic about what’s going on in the world. And we have a responsibility to protect our own and to protect others who might be vulnerable from rogue nations that want to wipe people off the face of the earth. And that’s what we’re dealing with here.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right, we really are. And I mean, Scripture is clear about this. God ordered people into war, ordered Israel into war in many cases. And so sometimes war is necessary, we’re told in Scripture, to seek wise counsel when making war. So you’re right, we don’t want to be warmongers, of course, but to take inaction, and to allow Iran to continue to be the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. Remember, it’s been 47 years now since the mullahs overtook Iran and chased the Shah out of the country. It’s been 47 years. So for 47 years, Republican and Democrat administrations alike have tried diplomacy. They’ve tried sanctions. And here we are 47 years later. Where’s it getting us? It’s not working well. Thankfully, Trump realizes this and takes what steps are necessary.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, and before this thing even began, leadership in Iran was provided with many off ramps. There was a major attempt to negotiate this thing away and they had no interest in it. And intelligence sources indicate, you know, they never have had any interest in it. And if they were to look you in the eye and say, you know what, you’re probably right. We’re just going to be trying to be more of a democratic type society. And we’re going to let women walk around without wearing hijabs. And we’re going to we’re going to back down on the whole nuclear thing. Don’t believe them. This is where Satan is the father of all lies. And we’re looking into the face of Satan when you’re looking at people that just want to destroy other people. because they don’t embrace their theological viewpoints.
SPEAKER 02 :
And what you just said, I think it’s really important for Christians, and really it’s young Christians, because guys, and I’ve talked about this before in some of the podcasts that I’ve led in regards to, we have a lot of young conservatives that are very anti-Semitic. They are very anti-Israel, anti-Jew. They follow the likes of Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson, who, by the way, both are knuckleheads, and no one should listen to them on any level whatsoever. They have, in my opinion, completely disenfranchised themselves with reality. So the reality is no one should listen. But there’s a lot of young conservatives, Neil and Bob both, that are looking at this war as being completely anti-Christian and so on. And what they don’t understand is this really is, Neil said at a moment ago, good versus evil. And they’re not hearing that enough. Bob, back to your point about where these uninformed voters are getting their news from. They’re not hearing what I just said.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and you know what? We’ve said this many times, that so many things are spiritual battles. I believe this is a demonic deception on a lot of the left. Think about this for just a second, okay? Think about the girls on The View, okay? Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, you know, whatever, all right? And the Hollywood celebrities, the Hollywood feminists, all these kind of people, you realize they are more offended. They feel more emotionally offended at the thought of Donald Trump. than they feel about the mullahs in Iran. And think about the policies that they have in Iran, that these mullahs, this Ayatollah Khomeini that we killed, right? You realize under his rule, under his regime, homosexuals in Iran are executed. They’re executed. Where’s the gay lobby of Hollywood for this? And as far as women go, women who don’t wear the full hijabs from top to bottom, women that expose their faces and hair, they are beaten. They are flogged in public. They are imprisoned for this. Women… are allowed to be beaten by their husbands legally. It’s in the Quran, Surah 434, and this is imposed in Iran. Women have to get permission from their husbands to even travel. Husbands have veto power to determine what jobs their wives are even allowed to have. This is the way that women And by the way, inheritance, women don’t get the same inheritance that their brothers get. Brothers get twice the inheritance. Child custody rules, do you know that custody always goes to the man? And if the man is dead, doesn’t go to the mom, goes to the grandfather. If the grandfather’s dead, it goes to a male relative or guardian, okay? This is the way women are treated over there. And for adultery, women are stoned to death. Men get to claim custody. In Islam, it’s a temporary marriage is what it’s called. But these kinds of laws in Iran, that is less offensive to the gals on The View and the Hollywood feminists. It’s less offensive to them. than Donald Trump. You talk about having a heart filled with hatred for Trump. I do wonder if there were an uprising of the people in Iran. No, you may not have individual people out there protesting in the streets that are now suddenly going to get the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to follow them. But might there be some freedom, liberty-minded people in the high enough ranks in the military there to… that they would agree to basically a coup instead of handing the government over to Khomeini Jr.? ?
SPEAKER 02 :
Great, great question. My gut feeling is without some, and I know we’ve talked about this in the past, some Kurdish involvement or some other outside source coming in and showing the people that there’s other folks there that are on their side, regardless of what’s happening inside of their own guard. My gut feeling is, Bob, I don’t see that happening until other outside forces come in and join. And that won’t be us. So it’s a matter of who’s that going to be. Yeah.
SPEAKER 04 :
And, you know, not to get too inside politics, but the Kurds, for the most part, are Sunni Muslims. And 85 to 90 percent of Iran are Shia Muslims. And Shia and Sunnis don’t get along with each other at all. So I can’t imagine the military there getting behind them. Kurds just because they’re Sunni. So it almost seems like you’d have to have some Shia military leaders and commanders who are liberty and freedom-minded people that they would have to be the ones, I think, that would on behalf of the people institute some kind of a coup. But what about this kid, Moshtaba Khomeini? It turns out that he only survived the initial attack because he happened to go outside and get some fresh air and take a walk in the garden at the time that the bombs hit. He’s injured, it appears. The people in Iran right now, the leadership says, oh, no, he’s fine. Foreign ministers, he’s in perfect health. Yeah, okay, right. But there are some unconfirmed reports that he’s actually on life support. Who really knows? Some people saying that there’s this leaked audio that says he just minor injury to his leg, but he won’t let himself be shown. And then, as insane as this sounds… There are some unconfirmed reports of Iranian officials that told the U.K. Telegraph, look, it’s an unspoken truth. Everybody knows this, but nobody says it with their outside voice, that the son is gay and that the dad didn’t like him and thought he was stupid and shouldn’t be in charge of anything and didn’t want to handle it. the reins off to him anyway. And so is the son just some bumbling stupid guy who happens to be gay and the military is trying to figure out, all right, what are we going to do here? So I don’t know. I mean, what are your thoughts about this guy and the fact that he still won’t show his face in public?
SPEAKER 02 :
Isn’t there a bounty out right now just trying to figure out if the guy even exists? In other words, I think we as a country put out some $10 million bounty for proof that he even is alive because there’s theories out there that he’s not. I don’t know. I mean, maybe. I think I read that a couple of days ago.
SPEAKER 04 :
Neil, what’s your take on Mushtaba, the junior?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, I think he’s either virtually incapacitated and they can’t afford to show him in public or there’s more going on like you’re describing. And by the way, if he is gay, why hasn’t he been killed? Because they don’t tolerate that in Iran.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, they’re a bunch of hypocrites, of course. I mean, they, you know. They don’t practice what they preach, it seems. I mean, who knows if the kid’s gay or not? We just really don’t know. But there are, like I say, there are Iranian officials that are speaking off the record telling the UK Telegraph, this is an unspoken thing that everybody knows, but nobody dares say with their outside voice. So…
SPEAKER 03 :
By the way, you call him a kid, but is he – I don’t think he’s – I know.
SPEAKER 04 :
He looks like he’s closer to – Well, we’re in our 60s, so if this guy’s what, in his 40s or 50s, I guess I’d call him a kid. You know, I suppose. By the way, I am kind of curious what you think about the length of this thing. Do you – Neil, do you see this war dragging on a long time? Because if it goes beyond 60 days, that’s where Trump would have to go to Congress to to get approval for continued military operations inside of 60 days, he can do it himself. So he’s constitutionally sound right now. I don’t think Trump anticipates this going beyond 60 days at all, period. I can’t imagine him having to go to Congress now.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, I think you’re right. And I don’t think he would find support in Congress because there’s going to be enough defectors on the Republican side to make sure that he doesn’t get the support he needs. That’s just my opinion. Secondarily, I don’t think he can wait much longer for it to go on at all. And pray that the world’s economy stabilizes somehow and that gas prices come back down in the US because the midterms are coming in November. And this would be a catastrophic situation. You know, if there’s super high gas prices, the world is in, you know, in a heap of trouble and we’ve got US boots on the ground or whatever it’s going to take to end this thing in Iran. I think he needs it to be over sooner rather than later.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. And John, I’m curious to get your take on this as well. But especially as part of that Think about this for just a second, okay? Let’s pretend that this goes well. Let’s pretend that this thing is over with inside of 60 days and that there is, in fact, a ceasefire, which, by the way, I believe that’s going to happen. I’ve been telling my audience, I’ll bet you by the end of March. Well, it may have to be the end of April. Start at February 28th. But if there’s a ceasefire and this thing comes to an end… And then when the dust settles, we go into the summer. John, imagine this, going into the summer where at the beginning of the year, Iran, after 47 years, was still the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. And now here we are going into the elections this fall and Iran is neutered. They’re nothing more than one of the Middle Eastern nations that aren’t giving us or their neighbors trouble anymore. And Iran isn’t the people that they were for the last 47 years, or at least they’re not operating that way anymore. This has the potential to be hugely historic, generationally historic as far as a change in Iran. The Trump haters will still never give him credit for that. But the key is this thing has to end quickly. It can’t drag out. I think if this drags out through the summer, it’s a blue wave.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah, it’s going to be rough on the midterms if this thing drags out. This thing needs to come to a fast, quick stop, get the straight open like we’ve been talking about through the podcast today. Whether the other countries help or not doesn’t matter. But if we’re going to have any kind of success going into the midterms, this thing cannot drag on much longer.
SPEAKER 04 :
Do you think it will, though? I mean, turning into military analysts.
SPEAKER 02 :
Given the fact that we don’t have any other help, and guys, I mean that. I mean, right now it’s us and Israel. We seem to be the only two really in this battle because of other reasons we’ve talked about today, the other countries and where they’re at with things. And the reality is I don’t think they look at Iran the same way We do. So at the end of the day, it’s us and Israel. And we did last night bomb a lot of their munitions dumps and so on right along the Strait. We used some of our big, huge bombs last night and bombed the Strait, you know, right along the edge of the Strait most of the night. Now, will that have an effect? And are we going to continue to see some headway there? You know, Lord only knows. I think we will, Bob. I think what Trump understands is what we’re saying right now. And we have got to get our military in high gear and get this thing done sooner than later. Just real quick.
SPEAKER 04 :
I’ll tell you what. I’ll bet you Trump punishes a lot of our NATO allies afterward, tariff punishment or whatever.

Yeah, because they should be held accountable for this.

Let me just say super quick. yeah super quick because we got about a minute left i’m not comfortable with the bravado that we hear coming from the white house all the time and the idea that one day they were totally the war was over in one day they’re totally decimated they have no capability we’re in total control oh except the straight of hormuz situation that we can’t seem to handle right now and they are still shooting rockets into other middle eastern countries including israel on a regular basis so they are not utterly decimated and i think we need to dial it down a notch because people eventually will say we’re being lied to even by the trump administration
