SPEAKER 01 :
What a beautiful time of year. As the weather begins to cool, the leaves begin to turn colors on the trees, the beautiful greens turn into oranges and reds and yellows, and there’s a different smell in the air, and it’s just like a fresh wind is blowing through. It’s a new season. And we’re in a new season, not only in the climate, but also in terms of God’s holy, sacred days. God’s calendar has special holy days or holidays, just like the Gregorian calendar does. And God’s sacred calendar has two main seasons in terms of his holy days. He has the spring holy days. And then he has the fall holy days. So we are in the midst, beloved ones, of God’s holy fall days in his sacred calendar. Now these holy days consist of Rosh Hashanah, but more biblically it’s called Yom Teruah or Yom Teruah. And that means the feast of trumpets or the Feast of Blowing. Rosh Hashanah, most Jewish people refer to as Rosh Hashanah, just means the head of the year because Jewish people recognize Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur as the head of the year. But biblically speaking, this was the day where the Lord commanded his people to blow a trumpet as a reminder. And it’s a bit of a mystery as to what the priests were to blow the trumpet for, what the Levites were to blow the trumpet for. And when we dig deep into this, we find that the greatest episode of a trumpet blowing that Israel would have been reminded of was when the trumpet sounded from heaven right before God broke in and gave Moses the Ten Commandments. In other words, beloved ones, the trumpet from heaven announced the break-in of the kingdom of God. So when the Lord told us to blow the trumpet on the Feast of Trumpets, What this reminds us of is that once again, the Creator is going to break into the world. The kingdom of God is going to be on full display. The fullness of the power of the kingdom of God will break in at Yeshua’s return. At the sound, the scripture says, of the last trumpet, the Lord will descend and the dead in Christ will rise first and the rest of us will meet him in the air and Yeshua will establish his kingdom on earth. The next Fall Holy Day is called, we say in Hebrew, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, where the high priest would bring the blood of a bull and the blood of a goat into the Holy of Holies inside the tabernacle, and he would pour it on top of the Ark of the Covenant, and God would overlook the sins of Israel for the year. Much of the book of Hebrews is about the Day of Atonement and compares that whole ceremony to the blood of Jesus. Then the third of the Fall Holy Days is the Feast of Rejoicing. We call it in Hebrew Sukkot. It’s also known in English as the Feast of Tabernacles or the Feast of Booths. In John chapter seven, we read about this feast. It was on the great day of this feast when Yeshua said, he that believes in me from his innermost being will flow rivers of living water. Everything that Jesus did, He did in connection, beloved, with God’s holy days that are contained in the Hebrew calendar. I want to encourage you today, if you’re being blessed by this message, if you’re being blessed by this ministry, if you have a witness from the Spirit that God is speaking to you, He wants you to know about this, He wants to wake you up and remind you and encourage you and inspire you by Hebrew teaching like this, would you present a special offering to the Lord right now? Because the Lord said, Three times a year, the children of Israel were to present a special offering to him. It was on Passover or Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Shavuot or Pentecost, and the Feast of Tabernacles, which were in that season right now. I want to thank you in advance for your special support. And for those of you that are supporting us monthly, because without you, beloved, I can’t teach. I wouldn’t be able to reach you. If the Lord’s knocking at the door of your heart right now and you just feel him giving you a witness, yes, you should make an offering to him through discovering the Jewish Jesus right now. Just sow that seed, beloved. It’s going to come back to you, just like Jesus said, when you do it out of a pure heart unto the Lord because of your love and respect for him, your creator, he’s going to bless you. It’s going to come back. Press down good measure, just like Jesus said, running over into your lap. God bless you and thank you in advance for your love and support.
