Join Rabbi Schneider as he discusses the struggles we face against the spirit of accusation and ill will, a battle against darkness that we all encounter. Through practical insights and spiritual reflections, he encourages us to persist in choosing mercy, explaining how such a path leads to experiencing God’s profound embrace and unfathomable love. Reflect on how embodying mercy can transform your life and strengthen your connection with the divine.

Welcome to Seeds of Revelation, a short devotional presented by Rabbi Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus the Messiah. Let me ask a question. Do you practice trying to walk in mercy towards people? Yeshua said in the Sermon on the Mount, in the Beatitudes, blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. But you know what? There’s somebody that we’re in a war with that doesn’t have an ounce of mercy in him, and that’s the devil. The devil has come to do only one of three things, either to steal, to kill, or to destroy. He’s the accuser of the brethren. He hates every one of us. He hates you. He hates your best friend. He hates your mother-in-law. He hates all the people that you work with. And he’s continuously trying to project his spirit into our lives so that rather than showing mercy towards people, instead we show or the devil is wanting wanting us to show accusation and ill will towards people we need to resist the accusation of the devil that’s wanting to work through our lives we need to resist what the spirit is that is wanting to accuse others through us instead we need to choose mercy So the next time that you’re feeling condemnation towards somebody, or ill will towards someone, or accusation towards someone, recognize what it is. Recognize that the thought is coming from the devil himself, the power of darkness. Resist that thought, shift out of it to show mercy. Try to recognize that, hey, this person, they’re not perfect. Maybe they’re not exactly my type of person, someone that I’m naturally drawn to. But you know what? God loves this person. Then pray, Lord, help me to see this person through your eyes. Help me to have love for them. Help me to have mercy. And when we practice, beloved, showing mercy to other people, and sometimes this takes work, sometimes it’s a sacrifice, it takes effort, but when you and I overcome to live in mercy, you know what happens? We begin to experience God’s mercy and unmerited kindness and favor towards us, we enter into feeling God’s embrace for us when we show mercy to other people. If we don’t show mercy, there’s gonna be a block. We won’t be able to feel God’s love and acceptance. So beloved, when Yeshua said, blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. It wasn’t just a poetic platitude. It’s life and death, really. It’s serious. It’s very, very serious. Let’s be people, by the grace of God, that walk in mercy. Let’s walk in mercy in Yeshua’s name.
