SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Praise the Lord. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell. Today I’m going to begin sharing with you another Christmas message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith Christmas services called Emmanuel, God with us. I believe this message will truly bless you. So join me now in our live service for the beginning of this Christmas message. Emmanuel, God with us. Tonight’s message is called Emmanuel, God with us. We see that name first in Isaiah 714. Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign. The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son and will call him Emmanuel. And again, in Matthew 1, 18 to 25, I’ll read this Christmas story, says this is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about. His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph. But before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph, her husband, was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you are to give him the name Jesus because he will save his people from their sins. The name Jesus, you know, means savior. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet. The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son and they will call him Emmanuel, which means God with us. When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son and he gave him the name Jesus. praise the Lord. Well, tonight we’re going to look at God with us, God for us, and God in us. Glory to God. This has really blessed me as I’ve been studying this. Isaiah 41 10 says, so do not fear for I am with you. God is speaking. I am with you. And I’ve mentioned this before. Do not fear for I am with you. The command do not fear is in scripture many, many times again and again. But almost every time it says, do not fear, do not be afraid. It is followed by because I’m with you. I’m with you. I’m with you. Why are we not to be afraid? Why can we or how can we? Not be afraid because God is with us. So he said, do not fear for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Again, we see it in Psalm 46, verses 5 and 7. God is within her. She will not fall. God will help her at break of day. This is for you. You know, even though it’s actually in context referring to Israel, we are in the New Testament grafted in to Israel. It says in Romans 8. We’re grafted into Israel. So we are the spiritual seed of Abraham, the spiritual Israel of God. So all of these promises that are to Israel about God being with them and delivering them are also to us. Hallelujah. So God is within her. She will not fall. God is with you. You will not fall. God will help you at break of day. Turn to somebody and say, God will help you. Hallelujah. And verse seven, the Lord almighty is with us. The God of Jacob is our fortress. God is with us. Guess what? You’re not alone. You’re not alone. You’re not alone. I heard a story when a man, a salesman was going door to door and advertising his selling his product. He would say, hi, I am Bill with Electrolux. Maybe selling vacuums. Who knows? With. I’m Bill with Electrolux. He said who he was with. Well, you are with God. And God is with you. I heard one time a story, a man was actually in a, I think in a secular movie set as a movie was being taped. And so that the staff all around there, they weren’t saved and came up and introduced themselves to him. And he says, hi, who are you? Man said, I’m Kenneth. I’m with God. Kind of stunned the man that he said to. I’m with God. But we need to think of ourselves that way. I’m with God. And God is with me. Hallelujah. And then we see it in Deuteronomy 20 verse four, for the Lord, your God is the one who goes with you. He’s with you. Why? To fight for you against your enemies, to give you victory. God is with you to give you victory. If God is on your side, we’re going to look at that later, but you can have the victory every time. You can always get the victory. Deuteronomy 31.6. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them. For the Lord your God goes what? With you. Let’s read this next part together. Let’s read this underlying part together. Again, for the Lord, your God goes. And let’s change you to me. Change you to me. Okay. Start again. For the Lord, my God goes with me. He will never leave me nor forsake me. Hallelujah. He will never leave us nor forsake us. And Hebrews 13, 5 says, For he himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hallelujah. In John 14, Jesus was talking about sending the Holy Spirit. And when he said that in John 14, 16, he said, I will ask the father and he will give you another counselor to be with you forever. You will never be alone. Say, I will never be alone. Praise the Lord. Isaiah 43 verses 1 through 3 and 5. But now this is what the Lord says. He who created you, O Jacob, O Jack, O Richard, he who formed you. Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have summoned you by name. You are mine. When you pass through the waters, what? I will be with you. And when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. The flames will not set you ablaze for I am the Lord, your God, the Holy one of Israel, your savior. Do not be afraid for why let’s say together. I am with you. Glory to God. Let me read this again. Verse two. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. That’s whatever storm you may be in, whatever problem you may be in. When you pass through the waters, I’ll be with you. When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. The flames will not set you ablaze. Well, do we remember a story about that? Let’s look at this story in Daniel 3, where literally, literally, not figuratively, literally happened. Daniel 3, 19 to 27. Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace. So these men, wearing their robes, trousers, turbans, and other clothes were bound and thrown into the blazing furnace. Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisors, weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire? They replied, certainly, O king. He said, look, I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed. And the fourth looks like a son of the gods. Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out, come here. So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire, and the satraps, prefects, governors, and royal advisors crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed. Their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire there. on them. Glory to God. And it’s the same for you and for me, no matter what situation you go through, no matter what trial it is, physical, financial, family, work, relational, any kind of trouble or trial, God is with you to not just to watch you go down and under, no, to deliver you. to give you the victory. Praise God. Psalm 23, four. Let’s say it together. Read it together. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me, your rod and your staff. They comfort me. And let’s read this together. Psalm 118 verses six and seven. The Lord is with me. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The Lord is with me. He is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies. Hallelujah. Amen. You will never face anything alone. God is always with you. Can What you just heard was the beginning of a Christmas message that I preached in one of our victorious faith Christmas services called Emmanuel, God with us. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
