SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I am Cherry Campbell. Today I’m going to continue sharing with you the Christmas message I began sharing with you yesterday that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith Christmas services called Emmanuel, God with us. And he’s not only with us, but he is also for us and in us. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this Christmas message. Emmanuel, God with us. any kind of trouble or trial, God is with you. Not just to watch you go down and under, no, to deliver you, to give you the victory. Praise God. Psalm 23, 4. Let’s say it together. Read it together. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me, your rod and your staff. They comfort me. And let’s read this together. Psalm 118 verses six and seven. The Lord is with me. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The Lord is with me. He is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies. Hallelujah. Amen. You will never face anything alone. God is always with you. Can you imagine the creator of the universe is with you? Hallelujah. There is nothing too big and nothing too difficult for you because there is nothing too big or too difficult for God. And God is with you. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. And God is also for us. For us. Let’s look at this scripture again. Deuteronomy 20. Verse four, for the Lord, your God is the one who goes with you to fight evil. What for you against your enemies? Why to give you victory? Everybody say God is on my side. He fights for me to give me the victory. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Psalm 124 verses one through eight. If the Lord had not been on our side, let Israel say, let Cherry say, let George say, let Mary say. If the Lord had not been on our side, when men attacked us, when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive. The flood would have engulfed us. The torrent would have swept over us. The raging waters would have swept us away. Praise be to the Lord who has not let us be torn by their teeth. We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare. And that’s the devil’s snare. And that’s the snare of sin. We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare, the devil’s snare. The snare has been broken and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Glory to God. And I forgot to mention, if you’re watching online, you can get the notes. download them. Go in the description below the video. There is a link. You can download these notes and follow with us. And then let’s look at Romans 5 verses 6 through 10. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for, we’re talking about God for us. Christ died for the ungodly for us. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man. And it was as though we don’t qualify for that or we weren’t righteous anyway. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man, someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love. Here it is again for us. When you see the words for us, say it with me. God demonstrates his own love for us. In this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified. And let me stop there a minute. While we were still sinners, we were not seeking him. And later here it says we were his enemies. And yet at that time he died for us. When we were sinners, when we were enemies, he died for us. Glory to God. Now, verse nine, since we have now been justified by his by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him? For if when we were God’s enemies, there it is. If when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his son. How much more having been reconciled? Shall we be saved through his life? So we were enemies. Now we’re saved. Now we’re his children. How much more will he do for us now that we are his children? If God was for us when we were sinners, how much more is he for us when we are his children? God is for us. Turn to somebody and say, God is for you. And say, God is for me. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. And I want us to remember the great exchange. I love this. This message really is powerful. Look at this and say for us with me whenever you see it. Jesus died for us to make us alive. And I have all these scriptures references for this. If you’re watching online, download the notes. The scripture references are there. I’m not reading the scriptures, but they’re there. Verse 1. Verse 1. He was condemned for us in order to justify us. He was bound and oppressed for us to set us free. He was punished for us to give us forgiveness of sins. He became the curse for us in order to give us the blessing of Abraham. He bore and suffered trouble for us to give us his peace. He bore our griefs and sorrows for us to give us his joy. He bore our sickness for us to make us healed. He became poor for us to make us rich. He went to hell for us to take us to heaven also. Hallelujah. Glory to God. And like I said, you need to look up all the scriptures. There are scripture references for every one of those statements. Every one of those statements has scripture. I’ve got the scripture references in the notes. Look at them, look them up in your Bible, read them and underline them because this is all taken directly from the scriptures. Praise the Lord. So in this great exchange, Jesus didn’t do it for himself. He didn’t need it. So why did he do it? For us. You know the answer. Good for you. For us. Praise God. Romans 8, 26 to 39. In the same way, the spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the spirit because the spirit intercedes for the saints. Or you could say for us. So right there, I want to say you have an intercessor, the Holy Spirit. And who is he interceding for? For us. He intercedes for us. Hallelujah. Verse 28, for the saints in accordance with God’s will. And verse 28, and we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him. You can also, I put there in brackets for us, for the good for us, because we love him who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Why did God create man? Why did God send Jesus? He wanted a family. He wanted a family. He wanted children, sons and daughters. Praise the Lord. So Jesus is the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called. And those he called, he also justified. And those he justified, he also glorified. What then shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? I mean, what a statement. Who could be against us? Or you could say successfully be against us. He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up. What for us all see how much for us is in this gave him up for us all. How will he not also along with him graciously give us all things that Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. I put in brackets. You can say he’s on our side. He is for us. Anybody wanting to accuse you, condemn you. God is the one who justifies and you are made righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ. God is on your side. God is always for you. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus who died. More than that, who was raised to life. is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. We got the Holy Spirit and Jesus interceding at the right hand of God for who? For us. What you just heard was the continuation of a Christmas message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called Emmanuel, God with us. And he’s not only with us, he’s also for us and in us. I believe this message is blessing you. Now join me again tomorrow as we will continue this message. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
