SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you a message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called Our Voice Activated Universe. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message, Our Voice Activated Universe. It’s the return of his word. That’s when it will accomplish. It will accomplish. It will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. I’m going to ask you a trick question. So I’m warning you. Is God’s word powerless? Yes. If you don’t believe it and say it. For example, how many people in the United States own a Bible and it’s on the bookshelf and they don’t read it? The Bible on the bookshelf, unopened, not read, not believed, not spoken, will do nothing. It’s this is it’s what do you call? I don’t know if it’s dormant or it’s like a dynamite stick. The dynamite stick is explosive and it can blow apart a building. But if it’s sitting in a cold storage room without a fuse to light it, it will do nothing. But if you light the fuse, it explodes and it’s activated. The Bible is more powerful than all the dynamite in the world, all the nuclear bombs in the world. But if it’s in the bookshelf and nobody reads it, nobody looks at it, nobody believes it, and nobody says it, it will never do anything. A person will not get saved. They’ll not get healed. They’ll not get delivered. If they don’t take that word, open it, read it by his stripes. I am healed. I believe that by his stripes, I am healed. Boom, activated power and boom, the power goes to work and healing goes to work in your body. When you believe it and say it, this power is then becoming alive and activated. Hallelujah. Glory to God. So it’s very powerful. It created the whole universe, but it is dormant power when it’s not believed and when it’s not spoken. So it’s the completion of the cycle. It’s not just when God… spoke it to the earth, that it’s powerful. It’s powerful. Then when we believe it and we say it ourselves by your stripes, I’m healed. Boom. The power is activated. He meets all my needs according to his riches and glory. And I believe I have all my debts paid and all my needs are met in Jesus name. Boom. The power is activated. Glory to God. The power is activated when we believe it and when we say it. Because what is it? It’s the completion of the cycle. Everything has to be completed. And him speaking it was only half. But us speaking it is the other half, and that’s when it’s activated. And that’s when it accomplishes the purpose for which he sent it. Hallelujah. Glory to God. You love that? I like it. I like it. Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen. Praise the Lord. Ephesians 5.1. Be imitators of God as dearly loved children. You’re supposed to act like God. You know, there are people who think humility is calling yourself dumb and I’m no good. And, you know, I certainly wouldn’t want to talk like God. Well, God said to. It’s stupid to call yourself dumb and ugly and you can’t do anything. And I mean… That’s not humility. That’s false humility. And it’s actually pride wrapped up in an, in a mask. You know, the truth is when you act like God, I heard a preacher say one time that somebody accused him because he was speaking God’s word, a Christian accused him. Well, you’re just trying to act like God. Well, of course. Who are you trying to act like? Like, if you’re not trying to act like God, the other one, do you want to act like the devil or what? Of course I’m trying to act like God. We are to be imitators of God as dearly loved children. Amen. James 1 26. If anyone considers himself religious now that religious, I like to interpret that as spiritual because sometimes today people get a wrong idea about religious. Oh, I’m not religious. Well, think of that word as spiritual. Do you consider yourself a spiritual person? Do you raise your hand if you consider yourself spiritual? I consider myself a spiritual person and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue. Oh, he deceives himself and his religion or his spirituality is worthless. So actually determining how spiritually mature you are is how well you keep a tight rein on your tongue. And then, of course, that also reflects the love walk. I mean, you say words of love, you speak love, you speak faith, and you don’t say the other. And then in James 3, verses 2 through 5, and the thing we need to understand about James, just a minute, James was the half-brother of Jesus, meant he grew up in the same house. Now, he didn’t necessarily believe in Jesus at first, but after the resurrection, he believed and he became an apostle, one of the apostles, and he wrote the letter of James. But in growing up with Jesus, his book talks a lot about words. His book is only a few chapters. And more than once, he’s talking about words and faith. Well, he had to have learned by watching Jesus, his big brother. And little brothers like to look at their big brother and do what big brother does. So James had a very good impression of the life of faith by watching Jesus. And so he teaches about it in verses two through five. We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man. Now, don’t get mistaken over the word perfect. I mean, don’t get confused by the word perfect. It means mature, full grown man. adult. So versus being a child, and we talked about spiritual growth, being the child level, being the youth level, or being an adult level, perfect is the full, perfect, mature man. Then this is a sign of maturity. If he is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect or mature Christian, able to keep his whole body in check. And so we see again that keeping control of your tongue is a sign of spiritual maturity. And verse three, when we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great bows. Consider what a great force is set on fire by a small spark. Your tongue, and today, okay, they use horses and they use ships for transportation. We use cars. So we could say the steering wheel of the car. is your tongue. Your tongue is like the steering wheel of your car. Your tongue is the steering wheel of your life. Bottom line, if you don’t like where you are today and what you have, your tongue steered you here. Your tongue is what got you here. You need to change what you say to go a different direction. That’s what it is. The horse, the ship, that was their transportation. Today, it’s the car. The steering wheel of your life is your tongue. And if you don’t like where you are or what you have and you want to change directions, you need to change your tongue. Your tongue is what got you where you are. And your tongue is what’s going to steer your future. And so change the direction of your tongue to change the direction of your life. And I mean, even the example of a small spark setting on fire, a great forest. I mean, that’s what the power of the tongue is. It can create great results. That’s a picture of great results. Small spark, great results. Amen. Proverbs 18, 20, from the fruit of his mouth, the man’s stomach is filled with the harvest from his lips. He is satisfied harvest. We’re back to sowing and reaping. Your words are seeds. Your words are seeds. Your words are seeds. What you have in your life is the harvest of your lips. Your words are seeds. What you have in your life today is the harvest of your lips. You have harvested your words. But it also, I like to see here where everything you need and want in life can come from your lips. You can get fruit from your mouth to fill your stomach. You can have food to eat by your words. Didn’t Jesus command the fish to get in the net? Well, you can command. I’ve heard of preachers doing that. Go out fishing. I command fish to bite my hook and they just reel them in. You can fill your stomach with your words. Harvest of your life. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. King James, death and life are in the power of the tongue. And so what you have, death and life are in the power of your tongue. You can say sickness and health. Sickness is in your tongue or health is in your tongue. Healing is in your tongue or the other is in your tongue. You can say abundance or lack is in your tongue. What do you want? What do you want? Say what you want. Proverbs 6, 2, you are snared with the words of your mouth. That’s a warning. Be careful. You’ll be snared. Proverbs 10, 11, the mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life. Well, it should be, hopefully. Proverbs 11, 12, a man of understanding holds his tongue. Are you wise? Are you understanding? Hold your tongue. Being careful of what you’re saying is what it means. Proverbs 12, 14, a man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. Do you want good things? And remember, good means excellent, perfect, beautiful, lovely, delightful, joyful, happy, pleasant. Everything good, that’s what good means. And you will be satisfied with good by the fruit of your mouth. Proverbs 12, 18, reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. You can have healing from your tongue. I mean, look at how much Proverbs talks about your words. James talks about your words. And Christians have overlooked that. They think, oh, what I say doesn’t matter. No, God created and activated the whole universe by his words and created you with the power to activate your life and create your life with your words. The parallel that we’re coming to here is that just as God created and activated the universe with words, he created you in his image so that you can create and activate your life with your words.
