Join Cherri Campbell in this enlightening episode of Victorious Faith as she delves into ‘Keys to Breakthrough, Part 1: The God of the Breakthrough.’ Campbell passionately discusses God’s inherent goodness, emphasizing that all beauty and perfection stem from Him. Through scripture, she reveals how sin is the root of all worldly suffering, but God desires a life of abundance and joy for us all.
SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you a message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called Keys to Breakthrough, Part 1, The God of the Breakthrough. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message, Keys to Breakthrough, Part 1, The God of the Breakthrough. So to make a judgment on what is God doing, when you look at starvation, is that good? Then did God do it? No, because he doesn’t do anything ugly. If you look at a car wreck and somebody gets all mangled up, is that God? No, because it’s not beautiful and lovely and perfect. What he does is good and only good. And so nothing ugly in this world, none of it. came from God or is because of God. God made this world and the earth and the people in it the way he wanted it. How was it when he made it? It was good and it was perfect. That’s the way he wanted it. Sin came in and sin corrupted and sin destroyed and sin brought death. We’ve looked at that scripture many times in our radio studies. In Romans chapter five, sin came and death came by sin. Sin is the root of all destruction. It’s the root of starvation. It’s the root of sickness, disease and pain, accidents and injuries, divorces and broken hearts and strife and broken families. It’s all from sin. God did none of it. God did none of it. And none of it is his will. God only does good. And let’s go to James chapter 1, verse 17. James 1, 17. Verse 17 says, every what? Good and what? Perfect. Now there it puts good and perfect together. Gift is from above coming down from the father of the heavenly lights who does not change like shifting shadows. You know, God doesn’t change. He’s not one way one day and another way another day. He’s the same yesterday, today and forever. You can always count on him to be good. Amen. All the time. All the time. And so we have to be rooted in believing in God’s goodness. And goodness is God’s desire for us. That’s his desire for us. Hallelujah. And then, of course, we remember Ephesians 3.20 says, Let me read it out of the Amplified Bible. The Amplified amplifies. God will do super abundantly far over and above. All that we dare ask or think infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams. Praise God. And then Psalm 34, verses 8 through 10. Psalm 34, 8 through 10. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. You know, you got to have that O in front. Because it’s like when you taste something, it goes, mmm, mmm, good. That’s what that oh means. There’s just something that you can’t put words to. You got to go, mmm, mmm, oh, that’s good. If I do say so myself. And oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Guess what? You can’t taste for somebody else. Have you ever thought of that? You cannot taste for anybody else. Taste is a very, very personal experience. And so you can see somebody enjoying something delicious and going, you got to taste this. You got to taste this for yourself. You have no idea until you get in and taste this for yourself. Well, you know, that’s why unbelievers don’t know how good God is. They’ve never tasted his goodness. And yet we are here tonight. We’ve had a taste and some of us have tasted a little bit longer than others, but we’ve already tasted and this is good. God is good and I like this. Amen. And do you know in the New Testament, and I don’t have it in my note, but it is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance. It is the goodness of God. I mean, it’s like here we are tasting this wonderful dish, this taste of God. We’re here tonight enjoying his presence. And we’re enjoying it and going, mm-mm, good. Isn’t God rich? Isn’t he wonderful? And there’s these unbelievers all out in the world there having never tasted it before. Never tasted him before, I mean, and his goodness and his glory. And we’re like, come on in, take a taste. And, you know, it’s not judgment. It’s not, you better stop doing that. You know, God doesn’t like that. That stuff doesn’t bring people to repentance. Hellfire and brimstone don’t bring people to repentance. I mean, it might scare them for a little while, but it doesn’t scare them forever. Might give them a bad night or two, but then they’re going to go back to it, you know. But when you get the goodness of God, that draws people. It’s like a honey that draws the bees. And so we need to be sharing the goodness of God with everybody around us. Telling people how good God is. And don’t be afraid and shy to give God the glory for something in your life. Oh, God is so good. And God did this and God did that. And God blessed me with this. And oh, isn’t it a beautiful day? God just has been blessing me today. I mean, be free to talk about that because, you know, that will draw people. People are going to start thinking, what is it with you? You’ve always got good stuff happening to you. And you’re always talking about the good things. It’s like, can I have some of that too? People need it. They want it. And when you just talk about his goodness in your life becomes an example, then it’s a witness to draw people to the Lord. Hallelujah. And then Psalm 23, six, surely God, What’s the next word? Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. You know, that word follow means to pursue and chase after. So goodness is going to pursue you. and chase after you all the days of your life. Hallelujah. Psalm 65, 11. Psalm 65, 11 says, you crown the year with your goodness and your paths drip with abundance. And Psalm 107, verse 8 and 9. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for his goodness and for his wonderful works to the children of men, for he satisfies the longing soul and he fills the hungry soul with goodness. Praise the Lord. If you’re hungry and if you’re longing in your heart tonight for anything, God is not withholding it from you. He satisfies and fills the longing heart and the longing soul with goodness. God is so good. And people have been afraid to even believe God is good. You know, it has become a popular saying, God is good. And And all the time, God is good. But you know, they learned to just say that in church. Actually, about 70 years ago, Oral Roberts started preaching, God is a good God. And you know, the church leaders persecuted him. How dare you say God is good? I mean, back then it wasn’t a revelation at all. And he preached God is good. And the church got mad at him. Well, now we learned a little bit. The Bible says God is good. So there’s nothing wrong with us saying God is good. But still, people have made it a religious saying in church. God is good all the time. But then they go home and they really don’t believe God is good all the time. That’s the problem. So we actually have to believe it. Cause he is good all the time. Everything good and nothing but good comes from the father. Every good and perfect gift comes from the father and nothing but good. So if it’s not good, it’s not God. Remember, John 10, 10 says the thief comes to steal, to kill and to destroy. But Jesus said, but I have come to give life more abundantly. That word more abundantly there is the same word that’s in Ephesians 3, 20. God is able to do exceeding abundantly. It’s the same word in John 10, 10. Jesus came to give life more abundantly, exceeding abundantly. And it means far over and above to the highest degree. That’s what that word means. Far over and above to the highest degree, superior and surpassing. And Jesus came to give life abundantly. That is to the highest degree. Life that is far over and above. Life that is superior and surpassing. Is cancer life to the highest degree? Surpassing far over and above? No, it’s not from God. Healing of cancer and healing of every disease where he heals and restores and makes you whole and new again. That is from God. He came to give life to the highest degree, superior, surpassing, far over and above. Hallelujah. That’s the kind of life that God wants us to have. So we first have to believe that he is good and that’s what he wants and that’s his will. Hallelujah. And that goodness, the goodness of God is laid up for us. The goodness of God is stored up for us. As we read in Psalm 33, 19, he has stored up his goodness for us. And there’s treasures that are waiting for us every single day. Hallelujah. We have to believe that we have to expect that. Then keys to breakthrough. Number two, you have to believe he is good. And then number two, you have to cast down every contrary thought. Cast down every contrary negative thought. We have, let me start by saying this. We have supernatural weapons that have been given to us. And in my radio series, I’ve talked about some of those, but our weapons are supernatural. Second Corinthians 10 verses three through five say, for though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. The King James says they’re not carnal. They’re not natural. They’re not of the flesh. And that’s best. I like flesh. They’re not of the flesh. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. And we take captive every what? Thought to make it obedient to Christ. So we have an enemy and I did a series called the law of spiritual authority. And then I did some lessons called knowing your enemy. You’ve got to know your enemy because the enemy comes in to steal, kill and destroy. And if you don’t know your enemy, then he is able to steal from you What you just heard was the continuation of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called Keys to Breakthrough, Part 1, The God of the Breakthrough. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
