SPEAKER 02 :
Good morning. Praise the Lord. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning I’m going to continue sharing with you the message I was sharing with you last week that I preached in a series of messages in our Victorious Faith services called What is the Word? And this is message three in that series called What is the Word? Spirit Food. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message. What is the Word? Spirit Food. You need the word of God all day long, every day. And faith comes by continuously hearing the word. So you need to hear the word continually. Victory for today comes from the word of God today. Victory every moment, even over over symptoms, over fears and anxieties comes from victory. Every moment comes from meditating on the word. Every moment you will get a victory moment by moment. When you meditate on the word moment by moment, you say, how can I think about the word all day? How do you worry? How do you worry? As much as it pops up with a worried thought, you speak the word. You replace the worry. You cast out the worry with the promise of God to meet your need. You have to answer every thought. Answer every negative, fearful, doubtful thought with the word of God. Victory every moment comes by the word of God every moment. Hallelujah. So don’t starve your spirit by trying to get by and just the little word that you get on Sundays and Wednesday nights. Maybe if you happen to go, don’t wait for your pastor to spoon feed you. And I’ve known some people who don’t read the word themselves, but whenever I share with them, they’ll sit there and listen. Well, I finally came to realize they’re just waiting for me to spoon feed them. It’s like, Hey, get out the Bible yourself, read it and study it. Don’t depend on me to spoon feed you continuously grow up. Stop being a baby. See, a baby needs to be spoon fed. And so the pastor always has to feed them. But as you grow up, you learn to feed yourself. That means you learn yourself to go to the word and study it. And you learn yourself to just turn on YouTube channels like this one, teaching the word and other programs that teach and preach the word. And you listen to it on your own seven days a week. seven days a week. You need the word because you have trials. You have life seven days a week. And if you don’t feed your spirit, then your spirit gets weak. So seven days a week, turn on the messages, listen to messages that build your faith, open your Bible and read them, print out scriptures that meet your, that are promises that God will meet your need, whatever sickness or healing or sickness, you need healing or finances or family. And I’ve got on my website, the tab called help from God’s word. And it has promises for many different subjects, healing and finances and jobs and families, marriage, children, all kinds of things, court cases, deliverance, wisdom, guidance, peace, joy, all kinds of things. Study and meditate those promises, confess them, read them out loud. That is building your faith moment by moment. Don’t starve your spirit by trying to get by on just a little bit of word on Sundays. Don’t wait for your pastor to spoon feed you. Feed yourself every day, seven days a week. Dig into the word of God and feed yourself daily. You need to strengthen yourself and arm yourself spiritually so that when the trials of life come, you have strength to overcome them. You’ll be like Vic Victory going right up over the top of that hill. You won’t be like Terry trial going chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, and can’t make it needs all of his friends to come along his side him and help push him. No, you’ll be like victory. You need to strengthen yourself and arm yourself spiritually so that when the trials of life come, you have strength to overcome them. You just breeze right past them. Use every available moment to read and study and meditate on the word of God. It’s not always easy. You have to decide what is most important to you. This is one thing that hurts my heart. People say they’re too busy. Christians say they’re too busy. Their work takes too much of their time, their family and other things. And they want some time for pleasure. And I just don’t have time for the word. Well, if you don’t have time for the word, you don’t have time for victory. Bottom line, if you don’t have time for the word of God, you don’t have time for victory and to do what it takes to get the victory. You know, every athlete that enters their competition, wrestlers, runners, any athlete, tennis players, football players, they all need practice continually so that when they enter the competition and face their opponent, they’re able to fight with strength. Well, you have life. to fight through, and you have a devil, an enemy, who’s always trying to steal, kill, and destroy, to devour. And we have the authority to overcome. We’ve been given everything we need to overcome. It’s all. 100% of it is all in the word. Everything you need to win in life over every trial is in the word. So if you don’t get the word, you don’t get what you need to win every trial in life. And that’s the bottom line of it. If you don’t study and meditate and listen to the word, you don’t get what you need to win the trials and battles of life. God has given it to you. You have to do something with it. Don’t be like so many Christians who are too busy, but when they face the trials, they have no strength. They don’t have the faith and they don’t know how to win. Use every available moment to read, study and meditate on the word of God. And that includes listening to Bible teachers and preachers who are teaching you how to win, how to overcome, how to use your faith effectively. Build your faith. How do you use the spiritual laws of the kingdom? That’s one of my primary focuses of my teaching is how to win, get victory in life, to understand the spiritual laws of the kingdom and use them to get victory in every trial in life. So listening to teachers and then, and then applying it and doing it, being a doer, like the man who built the top of the rock, being a doer of what you hear, not a hearer only use every available moment to read, study, meditate on the word, listen to the teaching of the word. It’s not always easy. You have to decide what is most important in your life. People always make time for what is most important to them. You might have to put some other things aside. that are not necessary for survival and for victory and that don’t help your spiritual growth in order to make time to study God’s word. I remember hearing about a woman went to a service that was a healing service and the minister was preaching on healing and then laying hands on the sick. And there had been many, many miracles. And this woman comes up to him before the service and And she said, please pray for me real quickly. I’ve got a terminal illness. The doctor gave me so many days to live. He said, well, come and join us in our next service. Oh, I don’t have time. I’m going shopping with my daughter. What? You have a terminal illness. And you don’t have time for the word. You’re going to go shopping with your daughter. Now, what’s more important here, life or death? You go shopping and you’ll die. You get in the word, you can live. I mean, that’s how foolish many Christians are. I mean, that one is a real drastic picture. How foolish that woman was. And that’s literally what she said. That’s a true story. But so many people are like that. I don’t have time for the word, but you have time to be sick. You have time to go sit in the doctor’s office. If you don’t have time for the word, the word can bring your healing. And so you don’t have to go to the doctor. You don’t have to sit in a doctor’s office. You don’t have to pay bills for hospital, for doctors, for medicines and medications. So many people, I don’t have time for the word, but they go sit in the doctor’s office. They make appointment after appointment, week after week, month after month. Their, their hospital bills are doctor bills. Their medication bills are huge bills. Well, why not just get in the word and get healing from the word and you saved all that time and all that money. You can get healing through the word, which you’re going to talk about in another message. The word is healing health and life. That’s another message that we’re going to get to in this study, but the word can provide that healing. You don’t have time for it, but you got time to go send the doctor’s office or you have time to go to a court case and go to a lawyer to solve your marriage trouble. And it costs you hundreds of thousands of dollars to get the lawyer and go to court and have all these cases, divorce cases or whatever, or any kind of trouble. And when you can be in the word and you can get the victory that way, the word can fight the battle for you. The word can fight the battle for you so that you don’t need a lawyer and you don’t need to go to court. The word can do it for you, but you need to get in the word. Would you rather spend the time and the money of lawyers or get in the word? Well, the same with the financial area and the debts, you know, people have and getting more and more and more debt. Get in the word and you can build your faith for finances. And then the finances can come in and pay off your debts. God wants you to be debt free. You need to get a vision of that. Probably most people don’t even have that vision being debt free, 100% debt free. God wants you debt free and he can do it, but it’s through the word building your faith. You need to build your faith on the word to increase your finances. And then God can bring the increase to you. But the word is how you do it. So you’re spending money on interest on loans and credit cards or bank loans or whatever. And you can be getting the victory through the word. So people are saying, I don’t have time for the word, but they’re losing time and they’re losing money. Through the financial problems, the health problems, the marriage problems, they’re losing time and money all over the place. And they don’t have time for the word. Get in the word and it’ll relieve all the time and money that you used to spend for those other things. Boy, think about how much money you’ll have when you don’t pay doctor’s bills and medication and we don’t have to pay the lawyer anymore. When you don’t have interest to pay anymore. You got lots of money piling up in your account and you got peace and joy as well. Get in the word, get in the word. It will deliver you. It will meet every need. It will solve every problem. It will give you victory in every situation for your body, your finances, your marriage, your children, your work, your future, your protection, everything. It comes from the word. Everything you need is in this word. Your life is in this word and your life depends on this word. God’s word. And you don’t get it. You’re not getting the word you need for victory. And that’s why you’re getting beat up by the storms of life. You’re getting beat up black and blue by the devil punching you, knocking you one way and the other battered. get in the word and you’ll get the victory. And then you need to have a balanced diet. You must develop your faith in all areas of life. And I’ve talked about this when I’ve talked about the law of faith and how in Ephesians six, it says, put up the shield of faith. Now in Ephesians six, that word shield, the shield of faith is, Now, like I said before, the New Testament was written in Greek. And there are different words for different size shields. And think about the Romans. If you remember watching any movies, some of the shields were round. just in front of them, covered part of their body, round shield. And there were also shields that were rectangular door-shaped shields. And those door-shaped shields, when the soldiers would line up side by side, they’d put the rectangular door-shaped shield side by side, touching one another all the way down. They would make an iron wall with their shields. What you just heard was the continuation of a message that I preached in a series of messages in our victorious faith services called, What is the Word? And this is message three in that series called, What is the Word? Spirit Food. And we will conclude this message tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
