SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you the message I began sharing with you yesterday that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called, Who Do You Say That I Am? My Abundant Provider. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message. Who Do You Say That I Am? My Abundant Provider. And so let me illustrate. This is the Greek word. It’s the Greek word lambano, L-A-M-B-A-N-O, L-A-M-B-A-N-O, lambano. It’s the Greek word receive, and it literally means to take, to take with the hands, to grasp, to clasp, to take hold of, to seize, to take possession of, to bring and pull to oneself. I mean, can you get more explicit than that? To grasp, to seize, to take hold of, to take possession of, to pull to oneself. And so this is an active word. The Greek word receive is actually I reach out, I wrap my hands around the Bible, my fingers grasp it, and I pull it to me. I am now, in English, that’s the word take. Take. Take is the best translation because taking is aggressive, receiving is passive and inactive. Thank you so much, Don. And so you see, thank you, that the Greek word there, translated receive, receive is a bad translation in that it makes Christians inactive. It makes Christians passive, waiting on God. God, I’m waiting. I’m here just to receive. I want to receive from you my healing and everything I need. Come on, God, when are you going to do it? And you’ll wait your whole life and go to heaven and say, God, why didn’t you ever put it on me? Why didn’t you pour it out on me? And God said, I told you to take it. So it should be, every time actually, I’ve looked it up, every time the word receive is in the New Testament, every time you see that word receive, just put beside it, maybe scratch it out and write take, T-A-K-E. Because every time it’s the Greek word lambano, it means to take, to take possession of, to seize. to grasp and to pull to yourself. Now, how do you take healing? How do you take provision? How do you take breakthroughs from God, which are spiritual? They’re in the unseen realm, and you’re bringing them into the seen realm. Well, first of all, you have to understand that the unseen realm is not a million miles away. Don’t thank God. Yes, God is on another planet. Heaven is a planet. But God is omnipresent. He’s everywhere. He’s right here in this room. And he’s, if you’re born again, inside of you. Right? Okay? So don’t think that you have to receive from a million miles away. Jesus said the kingdom of God is within you. Now that is a revelation. Right there. take that home And that’s a big nugget to chew on for the whole week or two weeks or a month. The kingdom of God is within you. So all of God is in you. All of his power is inside of you, in your spirit being. All of his healing is inside of you. All of the money you need to pay your bills, your house, your car, your credit card, any loans, it’s inside of you. That’s a lot to think on. Chew on that for a while. The kingdom of God is in you and everything you need is in the kingdom. Everything you need is in the kingdom. And where’s the kingdom? It’s inside of you and me. And that means everything you need is inside of you. So this is number one problem of Christians. Well, number two problem. Number one is they’re waiting for God to do everything. They’re inactive and passive. And they’re just saying, dump it on, God. Dump it on. I’m waiting. I’m waiting. That’s number one problem. Number two problem, then, when they start getting active, is that they’re thinking it’s a million miles away and where am I going to go to get it? And remember what is written in Romans chapter 10. Don’t say, who will go up into heaven to get it for us? Who will get my provision out of heaven for me and bring it down? Who will go down into the depths and bring Christ up from the dead or bring the anointing up from the dead? My money, my healing. Who will go to heaven? Who will ascend into the heights and bring Christ down? Who will go into the depths and bring Christ up for me? In other words… Who will go someplace to get the power I need? Who will go up there and go over there and go over there to get the healing that I need, to get the money that I need? He said, it’s near you. It’s in your heart and in your mouth. It’s in your heart and in your mouth. Okay, that’s not in my notes. Maybe it is. Go to the next screen. Did I put that up? I did. I put it there. Hallelujah. Okay, but what does it say? Okay, if I were to read verse 7 before that, which I did not put in there, let me read that to you because I was just, I was abbreviating it. I want to quote it to you properly. In verse 6, but the righteousness that is by faith, you could also say the healing that is by faith, the provision that is by faith, the breakthrough that is by faith, The family members saved, that is by faith. Whatever you need, the deliverance that you need, that is by faith. So everything is how? By what? By faith. Everything is by faith. It says righteousness, but it applies to everything by faith. It says… Do not say in your heart, who will ascend into heaven? That is to bring Christ down. Now translate Christ means the anointed one and his anointing, his power. Who will go to heaven to get God’s power for me? Who will go to heaven and get that healing I need? Oh God, send healing now. Oh God. Haven’t you heard that before? Haven’t you seen people sing it like that or pray it like that? They’re looking up to heaven. Oh, God, send healing now. Send healing now. And it’s almost like it’s a million miles away. Send it down. Send it down. Send healing now. Oh, God, send provision. I need provision. We need money to pay our bills. Oh, God, send it. And they’re thinking that, what, money is going to rain out of heaven or something. Don’t say in your heart, who will ascend into heaven? That is to bring Christ, the power, the anointing down that I need right now. I need anointing right now. Who’s going to bring it down from heaven? Don’t say that. Or, verse 7, don’t say, who will descend into the depths, the deep? That is to bring the anointed one up from the dead. Where are we going to go to get power? We need to raise the dead. To bring the anointing up, verse 8. But what does it say? So those are the things don’t say. Don’t look for the power to come from somewhere else. Don’t look for it to come from up. Don’t look for it to come from the east or the west or the north or the south. What does it say? The word is near you. It’s in your mouth and in your heart. That’s where the power is. That’s where the breakthrough is. That’s where the victory is. That’s where the healing is. That’s where the money is. The word is the power. Near you. Where is it? Tell me. It’s in your mouth and in your heart. That is the word of faith. We are proclaiming that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord. Jesus is my healer. Jesus is my provider. Jesus is my deliverer. Jesus is my kid’s savior and baptizer in the Holy Ghost. And what else? Believe in your heart that God raised from the dead, you’ll be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified. It is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. It’s with your heart that you believe and with your mouth you confess and are healed. With your heart you believe, with your mouth you confess and you receive money to pay your bills. You receive deliverance. You receive victory. You receive your kids saved, your husband saved, your wife saved. your whatever, your deliverance, whatever you need. It’s with your heart and mouth. Jesus said the kingdom of God is within you. And in Luke, he said, I believe chapter 12, he said that your father is pleased to give you the kingdom and seek first his kingdom, as she said this evening, and his righteousness and what? all these things will be added to you as well because all these things are in the kingdom. Luke 12, I think, 32, I could be wrong, says, or 31, that your father is pleased to give you the kingdom and then the kingdom is in you. The kingdom is within you. And so don’t look up to heaven for the power to come down. Don’t look east to west for somebody to go get it and go get that man of faith or that healing evangelist. It’s near you. It’s within you. That’s where the kingdom is. That’s where the power is. That’s where the Holy Spirit is. That’s where the anointing is. It’s in you. And how do you bring it out of you? With your heart and mouth. You believe it in your heart and you say it in your mouth. And there’s the power. And when there’s revelation, the light goes off. Remember I said there’s a light and the Lord also showed me there’s an explosion of power. Well, when you believe it in your heart, say it with your mouth, with that revelation, there’s the explosion of power when you say it. And then it brings forth and it creates the thing that you believe. Hallelujah. So you have the answer inside of you. Turn to somebody. Say you have the answer inside of you. The power is in you. The anointing is in you. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. So who do you say he is? So tonight we’re going to be looking at El Shaddai. Glory to God. Glory to God. El Shaddai, his name is El Shaddai. El is the shortened version of Elohim. Elohim is the name of God, the creator name of God, and it indicates God’s strength and power. Shaddai traditionally by itself means almighty or omnipotent or all-powerful God. When you see El Shaddai, it is often translated almighty God. El Shaddai shows God’s power to provide as the giver to mankind himself. He is the all-bountiful giver.
