On this concluding edition of Victorious Faith’s message series “Lessons From Jesus’ Healing Miracles, Part One,” Cherri Campbell continues teaching on divine healing, faith, and receiving miracles through active belief in God’s promises.
Building on previous messages from “The God of Miracles” series, Cherri passionately explains that Jesus endured extreme suffering and brutal punishment so believers could receive healing and freedom from sickness, disease, and pain. Referencing Isaiah 53 and 1 Peter 2:24, she reminds listeners that healing was fully provided through Christ’s sacrifice and should be received by faith rather than doubted.
The message also focuses heavily on acting in
SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning I’m going to continue and conclude sharing the message with you that I’ve been sharing with you all last week and in the last broadcast that I preached in a six message series in our Victorious Faith services called The God of Miracles. And this is message two in that series called Lessons from Jesus Healing Miracles Part One. So join me now in our live service for part seven and the conclusion of this message, Lessons from Jesus Healing Miracles Part One. So any picture you’ve seen of Jesus back with nice lines, that’s false. They were not nice, clean, red stripes. They would have like seven or nine loose tails grabbing each with claws with the broken bone, sharp bones or sharp, broken pottery or stones. They would claw, claw, claw 39 times. No, no. That was the Jewish law. The Jewish law was 39. Romans had no law. It says at their pleasure. Historians say they whipped until many died at the whipping post. Many did not live beyond the whipping post. Many were knocked unconscious. But the record says it ripped off flesh. It exposed inner muscles and sinews and even bones. It went so deep. Think of it ripping out the flesh and even exposing down to the bone. That is what Jesus bore. And now you’re going to stand there and say, Jesus, do you want to heal me? That is a slap in his face when he’s staring there saying, what am I doing this for? By my stripes, you were healed. You are healed. Isaiah 53 and 1 Peter 2.24. Isaiah 53, by your stripes, you are healed. 1 Peter 2.24, by your stripes, you were healed. Looking back to the cross, Jesus is there getting whipped. And by these stripes, you’re healed. Jesus, do you want to heal me? He says, what am I doing here? Why am I taking this beating? Why am I getting my flesh ripped open? So you could be healed. I am taking the punishment of sin for all sickness, disease, and pain so that you can be redeemed from it and be healed. I’m thinking of Jesus looking up at us while he’s bowed over. But Jesus is saying, I took it all so you could be healed. Don’t you tolerate sickness in your body because then you are not receiving what Jesus paid for and why he bore all those stripes. Actually, the whips, Romans, you know, they had a lot of practice and they were skillful. They would whip it. It would even wrap around the front, it said. And it would rip open the stomach muscles, exposing the bowels. If they whipped it around the face, they could pull out eyeballs and teeth and rip off a nose. And I’m sorry to be that grotesque, but that’s what the Romans did. I mean, you read about them throwing people to lions and watching the lions eat people alive. They were grotesque in their methods of punishment. That’s what they did. And so, you can imagine, it was not just a pretty little stripe. It ripped flesh open and off. And Jesus said, by his stripes you were healed. So… Do not accept any sickness. Does God want you healed? Yes. God loves you more than any human father or human mother. He loves you. Jesus paid the price. He wants you healed. Feeling condemnation or feeling undeserving can stop you from receiving your healing. And then the last point here is, said, stretch out your hand. So Jesus gave the command, but the man acted and obeyed. He stretched it out. So it was in his action of faith that he received healing. And that’s why many times when you see healing evangelists, they will say, do what you couldn’t do because you have to act in faith to take your healing. So if they’re healing, you then the healing evangelist will say, if you couldn’t bend over before and touch your toes, then bend over. What you couldn’t do. If they prayed for somebody’s shoulder who had a stiff shoulder, if you couldn’t raise your hand before, then start raising your hand or making the attempt to move it up. And as you start doing that, the power of God can come in and heal you. And then the healing manifests. So you act because you believe. You believe, therefore you act. And so you start acting by doing what you couldn’t do before. Start moving in ways you couldn’t move before. Do it in faith. I remember a testimony of a young 12-year-old girl who was healed of spinal meningitis. It was a miracle testimony in itself, that part. But I’m not going to mention that. The part… She was left after having spinal meningitis, which she could have died in 24 hours, but God miraculously healed her. But she was left with being deaf in one ear. But this young girl… grew up in the household of faith. Her parents and grandparents preached faith, preached believing you receive. Speak and act and believe the word. And she was raised from babyhood to believe she’s healed. She’d already, you know, anytime she’d ever gotten sick in the past, believe she’s healed. So what did she do? She had one ear deaf. Whenever she answered the phone, she would put it up to the deaf ear. Whenever she answered the phone, she’d put it up to the deaf ear. believing she could hear from that ear. And within just a few months, her hearing was totally 100% restored. She would have been completely deaf and she was 100% healed. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Believe you’re healed and do what you couldn’t do before. Act like you’re healed. Then start thinking healed, talking healed, and acting healed. All right? That’s the key. Think healed. Talk healed. act healed. I’ll say it one more time. Think healed, talk healed, act healed. Get up and do what you couldn’t do. Move the way you couldn’t move. If you had shortness of breath, go walk around the block. Whatever you couldn’t do, start believing you can do it and do it by faith. Hallelujah. Well, we will stop right there. Praise the Lord. God is a God of miracles. This is God of miracles part two. God is a God of miracles. He does heal, but it’s not all up to him. We’re seeing in the miracles in the ministry of Jesus. There were, I forgot something like 18 miracles of healing recorded in the ministry of Jesus that involves specific people. In other words, not just general broad miracles where he healed them all, but But these incidents that I’m telling you, it names the specific person, what they had and what Jesus did and what they did. These miracles were put in the Bible, giving the specific details of who was healed, of what they were healed, what Jesus did and what they did. So we can learn what we need to do. We can always do what they did to be healed. And so I encourage you, think healed, speak healed, talk healed, and act healed. Get up and act healed. Let’s all stand. Father, we just thank you for the anointing of your Holy Spirit. And right now, I release and command healing anointing. Father, just as it said in Jesus’ ministry that the power of God was present to heal. I know that right now in this room and to those watching online, the power of God is here right now. Why? Because God confirms his word with signs following. We’ve been teaching on miracles of healing. God’s power is here in this room. And for those watching online, the power of God is here to heal. So right now in Jesus name, I command the healing anointing to flow in your body and And I command every single person be healed from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. I command bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons be healed in Jesus name. I command the immune system be healed. I command the nervous system be healed. I command the back and vertebrae be healed. I command the spinal cord to be healed. I command eyes and ears be healed. I command hearts, lungs, kidneys, livers be healed. In Jesus name, I command blood be healed. Blood sugar, blood pressure be healed. I command every system of the body, the immune system, the blood system, the nervous system, the skeletal system, the muscular system. I speak to every system in Jesus’ name in your body. I command it in Jesus’ name. Be healed. I command you, be healed, be made whole, be strong, be made perfect in every way, be every bit whole in Jesus’ name. And now your part is to say, I believe it. I take it now in Jesus’ name. And if there’s something you couldn’t do before, start doing it. Start moving in different ways that you couldn’t before. But say, I believe it. I take it. I have it now. It’s mine in Jesus’ name. And then give God the glory. And you testify of it. You speak it continually. Hallelujah. You say continually. Thank God. Glory to God. I’m healed. Glory to God. I’m healed. Glory to God. I’m healed. Praise the Lord. Father, I give you all the praise. the glory and all the honor for what you have done, what you are doing, the healing miracles that are taking place in people’s bodies right now. I thank you, Father, for it. We give you praise. You’re healing people in this room and all over the world who are watching via YouTube and the internet. I thank you, Father. We give you glory. Thank you for your healing anointing, your healing power. In Jesus’ name. Amen and amen and amen. And if you’ve never received Jesus as your savior, you need to because he’s a good savior. Just say, dear Jesus, I ask you to forgive me of my sin. I know I’m a sinner. I ask you to forgive me of my sin. I receive you as my savior. You paid for my sin. I receive my forgiveness by faith. I receive you as my savior. I receive you as my Lord. Come into my heart and life right now in Jesus name. Amen. And you’re saved and you’re healed. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Write to me.
